Freda’s POV“What!”Craig and I said at once. We shared a look before a sly smile took over my lips. “You’re joking, right?” I turned to look at the guy.“That’s a lie, Eric,” Craig said, his voice husky. The room, which was usually big, felt strangely small and suffocating. I avoided Craig’s face and turned my attention towards Eric. He didn’t smile. He looked as if he couldn’t be more serious.“I’ve never heard of such absurd stuff. This is a joke.”Eric chuckled, “I thought so too at first. Everything about the Silver Blood Pack is strange. I thought my father was joking, until I turned eighteen and my wolf refused to show itself.
