Unique's New Command Center: Unique stared at the text with shaking hands, he couldn't believe what he read. How can his wife be pregnant with another mans’ baby. It couldn't be true it had to be a mistake, Unique thought as he walked out of the doc's room and into his office. He wasted no time dialing the number that sent the text. “What the hell do you mean she's pregnant, I saw her earlier and she was beaten badly and shot in the back. There is no way a pregnancy would survive that kind of trauma.” Unique yelled at the phone. “Would you calm down, you have to get control of your fucking emotions, if this is how you work then I'm out. I can't have you expose me because you're in your feelings. Having feelings causes the person to make mistakes, and in this kind of situation it could cost us our lives or we end up in jail. So get yourself together, now the doctors are saying that it was a miracle that the fetus survived. They were able to get the bone

Chapter 251 The hospital: The empty office: “You think you have something that we want that could save your daughter, from facing the consequences of her actions towards my sister. The only thing we want right now is seeing you and the rest of your family behind bars. You’re just as guilty as your daughter, because you saw your child spiraling out of control and instead of getting her help, you solved her problems and made them disappear. All that did was create a girl who thinks that she can make a man love her, choose her, and be with her when she does bad things to hurt others. She doesn't understand that you can't hurt people and think you will have a happily ever after. Right now she is looking at me with a dumb ass look on her face still not understanding the gravity of the things she has done. She doesn't understand that mommy and daddy can't save her and she will lose everything she thinks she deserves but, really don't.” Big C said, his voice firm and commanding a

Chapter 253At the hospital:Essence's Room: “Ok, everything is looking great, her vitals are normal, and her blood pressure is within the normal range, meaning that she is comfortable with little to no pain which is what we want it to be. As long as she stays this stable, we won't have to put her back on the ventilator. We will leave you along to spend time with her, we will be back to check on her and make sure everything is still going well.” The nurse said, as her and her team left. Syncere, could hardly control his excitement. “I knew you were going to pass your test with flying colors, you got this and I'm going to be right here.” Syncere said as he placed kisses on her forehead, cheek, and lips. “Baby we got to get you some lip gloss because that tube they had in your mouth made your lips chap. I'm still going to kiss you chapped lips and all, now all you need to do is open your eyes for me and that will make my day.” Syncere said as he made sure

Chapter 255 Syncere and Shawn's apartment: “My Bri, Bri, I didn't know if you were coming, with Shawn or not. I'm glad to see you too together like old times. We can sit down and have a family……” Susan was saying, but her words got caught in her throat when She saw Kymoni being pulled in behind Shawn. Susan quickly sat back down after hugging Briana. She had a fake tight smile, she was sure that the girl wouldn't have come back tonight. Now her plan to have a family sit down so they could talk to Shawn about everything that has happened this week. “Hello young lady, I didn't know you were coming with my son tonight. I figured you would by your best friend's side.” Susan said trying to keep the stink out of her voice. “Trust me I tried, but I wasn't giving a choice, I was told I needed to sleep, so here I am.” Kymoni said, with a shrug letting Susan know she wasn't happy about being there either. “I thought, you were staying in the dorms, doesn't your fri

Chapter 257Syncere and Shawn's apartment:9a.m. Shawn woke up with a morning wood, that he planned on asking Kymoni to help get rid of. He smiled to himself, he couldn't believe she was finally his, he didn't know when he fell for her. She was nothing like the women he had dated, or fuck he should say, but she was different, not in just the looks, but also her personality. She was who she was, she didn't apologize for it, nor was she going to allow anyone to shame her for who she was, and he loved that about her. He hasn't been in a real relationship since Briana, so the fact that he fell for Kymoni after such a short time, felt unreal. He turned over and reached for her, but came up empty. His eyes snapped opened, looking around the room expecting to see her, but she wasn't there. He figured that she was in the bathroom, so he waited, but once thirty minutes past, he got up to go look for her, and to relieve himself. When he opened his room door, his no
