Chapter 79Game Time: Essence, Kiki, Syncere, and Shawn: “Would you hurry the hell up! We’re late because I had to fight you to get you dress and your makeup done. We better be able to find a seat or I'm sitting on your damn back, come on lets go.” Kiki said as she walked hurriedly towards the gym with a whining Essence trailing behind her as they made their way to the gym. Essence couldn't believe Kiki pulled her IOU on her. That was the only way to get her into this damn outfit. Her and Kiki had a pay system, when one of them really needed something from each other, They would give each other IOU's, which means that it could be pulled at anytime as long as it wasn't anything dangerous, they had no choice but to do it. So when Essence refuse to wear the outfit Kiki brought with her, she ended up pulling the card on her so she had no choice. Now they were about to walk into the gym, and deal with the attention that they will get once they are spotted. Essence a

Chapter 81Game over: Essence's POV: “Damn I have to give it to the basketball team, they killed them boys in the second half. Those dudes, Syncere, Shawn, and Trent were on fire. They were unstoppable in that fourth quarter, they made a basket every time they touched the ball, and it was nothing but net each time.” Unique said, as we made our way to the court. Everyone was socializing on the court basketball team were doing interviews for the school news and newspaper. Me and Kiki tried to act like we weren't a little nervous to be out in the open, we knew Shawn and Syncere would be answering questions so we did have a little while, but we didn't want to stick around to risk being caught up in drama. Anthony, Unique, and the rest of the football team were in the middle of the court talking about the game and the upcoming party they were about to go to. Unique was very open with his intentions when it came to me, which was a big difference when it came to Syncere.

Chapter 83Syncere's POV: When Shawn saw that Anthony dude, pick Kiki up he damn near lost it, I had to hold him back from going outside to snatch Kiki outta that truck. “Yo you gotta chill out, you can't talk to her while you're pissed. Let's just let it go for now, you heard everything she said, so if you want a chance you better start checking them females you have been with.” I said to Shawn who wasn't even looking at me, but I knew he heard what I said. I looked back at the truck Kiki got into, and that's when I saw the dude Essence was with, pick her up like he was about to fuck her right in the damn parking lot. What the fuck is she doing? I had to use every ounce of strength to not do what Shawn wanted to do. Is she playing games to get a reaction out of me? Well I won't fall for those kind of games, I thought Essence was different then other females, but I guess some shit is universal. “Syn I can't believed you talked to me like that in front o

Chapter 85The Throw Back Party! Part 3Essence, Kiki, Syncere, Shawn, Jazz, and Leah: Kiki’s body froze in place, her brain told her to get the hell outta there, but her body wouldn't listen. She had zoned out everyone but Shawn, he looked at her like she was cheating on him. She knew what he was thinking seeing her dancing with her ex, and a flicker of guilt crossed her face. That is until she glanced down and saw Leah, dancing on him like a crippled old lady who thinks she still got it. The feelings of guilt left her mind as she looked at the pair dancing together. Shawn frowned and followed her line of vision, that's when he remembered he was dancing with Leah. Kiki shook her head, that was why she wouldn't let her guard down. He was dancing with the female who was responsible for her going to jail in the first place. He was just proving that she made the right decision, to not start something with Shawn.“Hey, I been trying to contact you since that night, can we pleas

Chapter 87Back to the Throwback Party:Essence, Kymoni, Syncere, Shawn, Jazz, Leah, and Von “Why are you taking off your earrings, not everything has to end in violence. There are other ways to solve a problem rather than acting like an animal. That’s what Mrs. Jamison was talking about when she said, act like you have a little bit of class.” Jazz said looking at Essence who had taken her Earrings off and sat them on the table. “Oh, I definitely understand violence isn't the answer for all situations. But it is when it comes to you and your flunky, yall always want to cross clear boundaries, then play victim when you end up with a limp and a sling on your arm. Like right now, you want to get your ass beat, just so your boyfriend can treat you like a victim, or see me in a bad light, which I wouldn't give a good god damn how he sees me. All I need him to see is that if you cross the boundaries I set, it will end with you getting punched in the face.” Essence said,
