บททั้งหมดของ THE ALPHA'S DAUGHTER;THE HEART OF MALROUX : บทที่ 31 - บทที่ 40

Valerie. The princess was placed on a stretcher and taken to her quarters. Few of the guards made way for her while the others trailed behind her protectively. I wanted to head back to my quarters when I almost bumped into Luna, she had her hands crossed on her chest, giving me a scrutinizing gaze. “You think you've escaped?. Anyways, you've two options here. Be the princess servant for twenty-four hours or head back to the dungeon. Your speaker and your protector are not there to save her”. She was right,I glanced around in search of Claven . He was gone,I guess he left with the princess. “I'll serve the princess. But she has numerous servants…….”. “You'll be her special servant. What's bad about that?. And you're the only one we trust that can protect the princess. Remember, during these twenty-four hours you're not allowed to sleep”. “You're saying I should turn to a statue because I want to

Valerie. The alpha voice echoed through the ritual ground. “What are you talking about?”. Luna asked, her voice breaking and barely audible. “You know what I'm saying,Luna Crystal”. The alpha replied, his save cold and impassive. “My alpha……”“The princess is in danger and only her parents can save her”. The witch said, smirking knowingly. “My biological daughter is dead…….that was why Xandia was replaced. Don't get it wrong,my mate and Luna didn't betray me…..I did”. Luna cheated on her mate and the Alpha is taking the blame on her behalf?. Or he doesn't want her to be thrown stones at for betraying and cheating on their alpha. “Dad…..how could you and mum do this to me…..”. Xandia screeched, seething. “Mum did nothing wrong…….”. Xandia replied, tears rolling from her eyes. “If the biological daughter of the alpha is dead,we have no reason than to call for this

Claven I found myself drowning in confusion when the witch announced that Xandia is the fake princess. How was that possible when father did she ran all the necessary paternity tests and investigations. Could it be fabricated results given to him?. And why?”. “She's the fake princess. I thought you were smart enough to know this from the beginning. Remember she had been weak despite having a wolf. And …”“Shit up!!”. I growled at my wolf, who crawled to the back of my mind. I'm silent. If I let him, he'll continue to spar nonsense till the end of the day.I've spent two years in the pack trying to get it right once and for all,and here ….us the biggest shock and disappointment of my life….. Xandia had been fake?. Luna cheated on the alpha?. “Where exactly could the biological daughter of the alpha be?”. “Somewhere…. somewhere in the pack”. The alpha replied to the pack members

Claven. I had searched the crook and corners of the packhouse for Valerie, but all my efforts were futile. I marched down to Xandia's suites, but her guards couldn't get me in. I had to lie to them that was sent a message by the Alpha,to be allowed in .“You'll be given ten minutes to do that”. A guard ordered coldly. I was still at the verge of stepping into Valerie's big parlor when she blocked my way in.“Why are you here?.”. She asked, her voice ice. “I'm here to see Valerie. Wouldn't you mind letting me know first?”. I replied, smirking mischievously. “Claven……I've always wanted you. I think this is the best time”. My eyes were scanning for Valerie or her scent, but it seems she was the only one home. She stepped out of the way,and locked the door to the money I walked in. “Where's Valerie?”. “You're here for something else….I know that…..”. She grinned, light

Claven. Mia kept on telling me that Valerie isn't safe but my wolf was still calm. There was no sign of our mate being in danger from him. “I'm tired, man,I can't find our mate”. I complained, when her friend and I had searched almost all the packhouses but to no avail. “I can feel her presence in the packhouse but ….. it's very faint. She's safe but sacred……I feel she's being forced to do something”. My wolf replied, his voice low. “We can't keep searching. She'll return back to our quarters safe and sound”. Her friend said, positively. There's something about her friend that makes my skin crawl, her voice, face, eye and hair colour sounded almost familiar to me. It feels like we had been together or at least seen each other…… “have we met before?. What's your name?”. I asked,my memory faggy. “Huh…I'm from the closest pack……I was being tortured by my brother before I was sent to that dungeon. My parents accused me of almost killing him when what I did was to defend myself fr
