DEL MORINO The first thing I perceived was the strong scent of blood. It was solid, metallic and very fresh. I rode faster, my breath coming in short . My heart was beating like a war drum in my chest. I didn't even realize I had moved halfway and we had been riding non stop. I didn't know that we were almost there. My eyes were glowing, my claws were out and my breath was shallow. I just knew that something wasn't right. Completely wrong but I wanted Layla to be safe and alive.
