STEPHANIE After screaming, I heard the door opening slowly. My heart raced in my chest, and I hoped for the best. I hoped that someone was actually coming to help me. I felt someone grab the doorknob, and I breathed out in relief. Someone was finally coming to help me. The door slowly pushed open, making a creaking sound, and increased the tension and made my heart pound even more.
