Julian’s POV. I sat across from my lawyer, my hands clenched on the table. Papers were spread between us, each one stamped with Kristina’s name. “You’re really going through with this?” he asked, lifting his eyes to mine. “Yes,” I said firmly. “Terminate Kristina’s employment. Effective immediately.” He leaned back, eyebrows knitting together. “You do realize she’s not going to take this well. We’re talking about Kristina here. She won’t just walk away quietly.” “I don’t care,” I said, leaning forward. “She’s been back on drugs. She’s unstable, reckless, and she’s dragging the company’s reputation down with her.
