Lahat ng Kabanata ng HER EMERGENCY GROOM : Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

"Does anyone have a wedding coming up soon with their spouse?" The bride's sudden question threw the hall into total silence. A white bird flew to the hall, and made a duck at the entrance then chirps before leaping up into the sky. The couples -to-be were standing at the altar and the priest had just read the vow to the wife but she asked that instead of saying "I do". A woman that was seated in one of the chairs in the front row gave her a look that threatens to break her bones if she doesn't quit her acting. Everything has been going on perfectly... The chest of the bride's moves up in her multi billion - dollar dress as she heaved out a deep breath. Her fragile fingers curled up into a soft fist. The priest casted her a look up from his glasses before looking back at the book in his hand, reading her the vow again. "Do you,Angela Wilson, promise to have and love this man as..." "Oh, priest..take a pause there."Angel's breath ruffles as she chuckled sadly. Her mother and s

Angela's pov. I,Angela Wilson,am here today to wed Mr Winslow, contrary to the name - Earnshaw you saw on the invitation letter." I announced boldly,my eyes glowing in determination. "What the fvck is she saying right now?"I heard Lena snapped in fury. "Have you gone banana? You shouldn't mess with Winslow, you know how it is - the news surrounding him. You just wanna badly destroy yourself, huh?"Daniel pulled me closer to his body. My heart hammered against my chest. I was reckless,I know, but this is the only opportunity I've got to change my fate. I could have just called the wedding off and leave but hell would be waiting to let loose for me. My only ray of hope - my eyes darted to the man that stared right back at me with an unreadable expression. Was he angry? Confused? Was he going to reject me? - oh Lord the embarrassment would be too much for me to handle if he actually does that. From what I've learnt about him, his greatest enemy is marriage. But I also heard he

The car drove into the house.I looked out at the empty spaces on both sides of the driveway. They'd have made a good garden of beautiful flowers.A soft ray of blue light glows on the porch, and I suddenly got more nervous.I am going to be living with a man I hadn't met before. We haven't met before and I only researched about him three days ago since he was the perfect man for me,no,my plans. The car pulled to a stop, and a sneeze escaped my lips."iishhh!"i covered my face with my palms,to avoid my saliva or mucus spilling out."Seems like your wife has just caught a cold.Mr Winslow,do well as to prepare her a warm bath, and hot tea."Pierre commented, and I shot him a glare from the mirror. He raised his hands up in surrender.I extended my hand to reach for the door, but it was yanked open from the outside.Huh?My eyes rolled back to the empty space beside me.When did he get out?"Spoiler,"Pierra guarded his mouth at both sides with his hands."I've never seen this gentle man side

I walked back to the room, after telling the cook I'd go down in some minutes time.I located the bathroom, doffed out of my wedding gown and dumped it in the laundry basket.I bent beside the jacuzzi. There were two faucets of water fixed on it.I turned the first one on,placing my hand under it and I shiver as the coldness hit my palm.I turned it off, rolling the top of the other.Warm water rushes out and I gave a satisfied nod before rising up.I stared around the bathroom. The walls are in light blue color with the accessories in cream color. The Jacuzzi itself was in white and the faucet were blue. There was a stand - in shower stall with transparent glassy door and walls but it's the type that could be turned translucent with a remote control. The floor were tiled in white.I closed my eyes, taking in the fresh breath.I guess this is it - HOME.I turned off the water when the jacuzzi was half filled before searching around the body wash displayed on the table. My head tilts to th

"Angela, can you please open this door? You haven't eaten anything and you need the strength."I heard Vanessa call out to me for the hundredth time.I heaved out a sigh and squirmed my lips. The pillow was thoroughly soaked with my tears."I'll drop the food here then. Even if you want to continue crying,at least get something to eat so you'll get energy to bring more tears out."I heard her say before she retreated.I palmed my face. I have to stop crying...I have to.I sniffed in, feeling coldness overwhelm my body and a terrible headache taking over control with it.My quiet sobs fills the room.I stayed like that for an hour. Just staring at the ceiling and tearing up like a kid. This was my side that dad loathes the more when he was still alive."Why do you always cry when you have more than enough power to get back at those who hurt you?!"his words resounded in my ears.He even thought maybe it was a disorder and took me to different doctors in different countries. It sounds ridi
