Ch 141

Alessia’s POVAfter the heartbreak, nothing was ever the same. I barely got out of the room. Staying indoors made me calm. The chaos outside, watching mates being together will only trigger my memories. Falcon and his mom are taking care of me. I have all my meals in my room. Sometimes falcon joins me. there are times when I want to be alone. He respects my need for space and I appreciate whatever he is doing for me.Today however was a little different than regular days. I did not feel the pressure on my heart due to losing the connection. It was as if a heavy weight was lifted off my chest. After accepting Ezekiel’s rejection, I had thought that nothing could break me anymore. I bare the pain of the rejection because I am not only a strong warrior but also an Alpha carrying innate ability to handle everything that life puts me through.“You are ready?” I looked up to find Falcon’s mom entering the room with Falcon following right behind me.“I can never be ready for it. Accepting E

Ch 142

Alessia’s POVI stirred awake with a loud voice. Groaning at the sound, I looked around and my eyes met that of Falon’s. He gave me an apologetic look.“I am sorry. It slipped” he said. My gaze slid towards the now broken glass. Letting out a sigh, I got up and leaned on the bed rest. I felt a slight headache.“You, okay?” he asked.“Be careful” I murmured as I pointed towards the shards of broken glass pieces. He sidestepped them and sat on the edge of the bed.“I was worried for you” his voice sounded concerned.“I am fine. Disoriented but I will be fine” I muttered.“Here let me help” he placed his hand on my head and after sometime, the headache is gone. Since I have met him, he has been always healing me. “Isn’t it awesome to have that kind of healing power?” I stared at him.“It is good when you are helping. There are times when you feel too overwhelmed. Your mind and body are changing while you accept the powers. It is not an easy process to be honest” he muttered.“You don’t

Ch 143

Ezekeil’s POV“Alpha, the reports are here” Mark walked inside and passed me the envelop. I eagerly took the envelop and pulled out the reports hoping that Emma is not carrying my child. However, my eagerness turned into disappointment when I saw the DNA reports. Hundred percent match. Positive, it said.“By the looks of it, the report has come positive” Mark commented.Throwing the reports away, I glared at the wall. All my hopes are lost as those words flashed in front of my eyes. If that was not enough, the reason for my disappointment walked in.“Alpha…” she stopped when she looked at my face and the papers which were lying on the floor. She saw the slight twitch of my eyes and was quick to grab them even before Mark could take it.“Ah, the reports are here” she smirked and checked. Her expression turned smug as she read the content of the report.“Positive” she flipped the paper and showed me with a smirk. I gave her a cold look, not at all interested in her sick games.“What did

Ch 144

Ezekiel’s POVMagnus shifted midair as we reached the back of the woods. I sprinted down the raw lane which led me deep into the woods. My paws hit the ground as I enjoyed the breeze and the thrill. All the stress went away from my mind for now. I enjoyed zoning past the woods; the cool breeze bought me calmness as I remembered the times I and Alessia raced through this very same woods. Her laughter echoed in the back of my mind as I reached the lake.A dip in the lake would calm my nerves which I haven’t felt since all this chaos broke out. After a few laps into the lake, I got out and laid down on the grass like I used the do the same with Alessia back then. How I wish she was here with me to enjoy the serene and calmness of the nature. I don’t know for how long I sat there. Three months passed by in a blink of an eye. We successfully convinced the council and they asked Emma to find her mate. Until then I will look after her needs. She will leave the baby with me once the delivery

Ch 145

Alessia’s POVIt’s been three months. I have started showing. One month to go until my delivery and I don’t even have the slightest memory of the guy who was my mate. Whenever I try to reach out to my memories, my brain shuts down. My head starts hurting so bad that I will nearly go unconscious with the pain.Mom and dad were no help either. They want me to forget that part of my life which only gave me hurt. That was their point of view. If it hurt me so much, why would I feel an emptiness inside. As if someone has taken a part away from me?Falcon who has been by myside throughout this term, I can’t seem to connect with him, emotionally or physically. Whatever he does for me, I appreciate it. But I never saw him in that light. In order to not lead him on, I made it clear to him that I am not interested in any kind of relation. And that my main focus is my baby’s growth. He respected my decision. We are good friends now. Today I had come to the mall to do some shopping for the baby

Ch 146

Alessia’s POVReaching home, I was about to head upstairs, when Falcon stopped me.“How was the shopping?” he asked.“Good” my tone came out clipped as my mood was not right.“What happened?” Falcon took one look at my face and looked concerned.“Nothing, I am just tired” I replied.“You are lying” he stated.“Why don’t you understand, I said I am fine” I snapped. He moved back as if I had slapped him.“Falcon… I am sorry” I apologized.“Get some rest. We will talk later” he muttered.“Falcon… I” he gave me a look. Now here I upset my only friend.“Okay” was all I murmured as I went upstairs. One of the maids bought the shopping bags and placed it inside in the corner of the room. I locked the door once she left as I did not want to be disturbed.I laid down on the bed, my mind occupied with a certain someone.‘What are you thinking?’ ‘Now you are talking’ I glowered at her.My wolf Skylar shrugged her shoulder ‘After months I could connect with our mate so I am happy’ she replied.‘

Ch 147

Ezekiel’s POVThe next morning, I left for my meeting at the midnight shadow pack. This will help me have a word with Alpha Alex.Driving through the familiar roads, brought back old memories which are very dear to my heart.Mark went to park the car after I got down near the pack house. He will be around as I go ahead with the meeting. I directly went to the conference room where other Alphas were already present including Alpha Trevor. “Alpha Alex” I greeted him as he was already present.“Ezekiel” he gave me a nod.“Alpha Trevor, how are you doing?” I shook his hand.“I am fine” he muttered in his usual stoic voice.“I see things are changing for you. You looked well rested” he stated. Obviously, nothing gets past his eyes. He is after all the son of a witch.“Yeah, I had a good sleep last night” I replied.“How was the shopping?” my heart stilled as I looked at him.“You know” was all I said.He merely raised his eyebrows at me.“I am the head of the Alpha’s and the council. What

Ch 148

Alessia’s POVI had informed Falcon that I will be visiting my pack. Not that I need to take his permission or anything, but it was good to inform him as they were protecting me.“Take care. You will call out to me the moment there is any sense of danger” he said to me as he adjusted the protection chain around my neck.“Don’t worry. I will be fine” I squeezed his hand.“Come on now. Let’s not get late. I am going to surprise mom and dad” I rubbed my hands excitedly.“So excited huh” he smiled.“You cannot even imagine the level of excitement I am feeling at the moment” I mused.“I can understand. it reflects on your face” he smiled softly.I held my cheeks and took a deep breath “I am feeling nostalgic. I will be returning my pack after such a long time” I muttered.“Nothing has changed” He assured me.“Not for everyone but for me, yes” I murmured.“It’s a good change. Maybe the rejection happened so that you can focus on yourself” he stated.“I don’t know. These past two months have

Ch 149

Alessia’s POV‘So, it is witch Ivana” I muttered.“Ivana” Ezekiel looked at me.“The one who cursed you” he stated. I gave him a nod.“I found out that the curse was half way done when we mated. When I conceived, it went away because you are my true soul mate. Back then my mate’s dying due to the curse, but no one told me that died because they were not genuine with their feelings towards me. I cannot justify or defend them now that they are not around us” I explained.“So how does it affect our babies?” he looked concerned.“Alyana said that I will have twin girls. One will be good and the other will be born evil. The evil twin will do things which she will regret later. She will also create problems for her sister and will lose a part of herself” “How do we change this?” his voice came out restrained as he was barely holding on to the thread.“I already did” I muttered.“How’ he held my hands. Looking at him, I replied “By forgetting your memories. Alyana said that I will save the

Ch 150

Ezekiel’s POV‘Mark is hurt’ Magnus all but growled.“Ezekiel, what's going on?” I stopped as my mate’s voice registered inside my head.“Alessia, Mark is hurt” I muttered.“Ezekiel, don't go there. Let me handle it” Alpha Trevor said to me.“I cannot” I shook my head at him.“Mark is someone who has taken care of me since childhood. Even if there is danger ahead, I will still go” I muttered.“But Ezekiel” Alpha Trevor started.“Alpha Trevor, let him go. He cares very deeply for Mark” I smiled at her knowing she remembered something then my eyes widened.“Alessia you remember this important detail” I held her by her shoulders.“I do?” she looked at me.“Yes,” I smiled.“I am sure your memories will return” I was convinced.“I hope so” was all she said.“Take care of yourself until I return. I will be leaving now” with that I placed a kiss on her forehead and moved back. She opened her eyes“I will come with you,” she murmured.“You can't,” I denied.“I want to,” she insisted.“Cherie,
