It was quiet but deep down I knew something didn't feel right. like eyes were watching me intensively. “Show yourself,” I said, louder now. “Or leave while you still can. I promise if I get you, I won't spare you.” Nothing answered me. Curiosity got the better of me and I walked away from the children and the nanny, moving in a wide arc around the clearing.
