I snapped out of my memories when I saw the policemen. They had arrived to retrieve my dead body. Alba was standing far away from me with his hand against his nose. He stared at the maggot-covered, bloody body in disgust. The policemen quickly took some photos of the scene and did a simple examination of my dead body before covering it with a white cloth. They were planning to bring my body back to do a thorough examination. But just when they were passing by Alba with the covered body, his disgust was suddenly replaced by confusion. He slowly walked forward and raised his hand uncontrollably. He wanted to reveal the body. Underneath the cloth was his biological daughter. Just when his hand touched the white cloth, one of the policemen interrupted him. “Stop! What are you doing?”Alba snapped back to his senses and put the white cloth down.
