Mima's POV“Mimaaa” he ran into me and held me tightly. I simped as I ruffled his hair and carried him in my arms. Kia should be around 5/6 years old with his stature now. He was so skinny when we found him weeks ago and I'm glad he's eating well now.“So, like I said Kia. I'd like to ask you something.”He nodded enthusiastically at me and smiled at me.“Do you remember any woman in the lab being nice to you?” The smile fell so quickly from his face.I went silent for a while so I sat on the bed and repositioned him on my lap. Tell me… do you remember anyone like that?Kia nodded and then he spoke. “She wasn't entirely nice to us but she was slightly better than the rest. She wouldn't hit us, she wouldn't inject us or force disgusting-tasting drugs down our throats, but she never did anything to help us when the others did.”I began to draw circles on his back to calm him down. “what did she do there then?”“She took notes.”“Notes?”“Yes. She was always writing things down, and she

Mima's POVRake wasn't in his office when I got there so I looked for him everywhere but I couldn't find him.“Sorry, excuse me. Do you know where Rake is?”The maid pointed towards the sparring yard and bowed before walking away.I spot him immediately as I step into the yard. He's shirtless, and his muscles bulge as he goes into a fighting stance. He tackled his opponent swiftly and slammed him to the floor, making his victory easy. His opponent was writhing in pain on the floor when Rake looked up.A smile graced his lips immediately he saw me and he smiled.“Rake, watch out.” His opponent used that small distraction to tackle Rake to the ground and now they're both on the ground.I laughed at his shocked expression before he got up, wished his opponent a good game and walked towards me.“Hi.” He said, looking at me as we walked towards the pack house. He was sweaty and dusty and needed a good shower. We talked about everything and anything before we finally got to his room. I stoo

Lacy's POVThat night I appeared back in the Moon goddess' world. She was sitting on her usual stone and staring into space when I appeared. I was confused. It didn't seem like she called me, so what was I doing here?“What are you doing here child?”“I have an Idea, too... how did I get here?”She moved to where I stood and placed a finger on my forehead, and I woke up. I looked around the room and saw that I was in the new room that Rake and I had.My room was getting remodelled and I didn't want to stay there anymore. Too many bad memories and Rake's room had just as bad memories now...I looked to his side to see him asleep with his hand under my head.I stared at the ceiling willing myself to sleep again. When I did, I was back in the goddess' lair. “What the–”The moon goddess looked at me confused. She moved towards me again, but this time, she didn't put her finger on my forehead. She just looks at the mark on my shoulder. It was glowing... I didn't even notice it.“Your power

Mima's POV I rushed to Beck's side and helped him carry Rake to the clinic without saying a word. Immediately we stepped in, all the nurses and doctors ran around frantically to get him a room and set up his treatment. How was he wounded this badly? What happened? “Brent... what happened?” Beck didn't say anything. He just stares off into space after dropping Rake on the bed, and the nurses are attending to him. He's a lycan for crying out loud. He was stronger than us werewolves, so how and was he this badly injured? “Sir, please follow me so that I can bandage you up.” Beck followed the nurse mindlessly, and I had no way of getting my answers since the two attacked people were out of it. Rake was badly injured. He had a bloodied face, his arms were bruised and he had cuts littering his skin. “Luna, please step outside.” “No. I'm not going anywhere.” “Luna, please we need to perform operations on him immediately. His wolf is taking too slow to heal and we don't want him to go

MIMA'S POVI flinched turning away from the door as I walked into the room. I had to read it, my mind was clouded with one thought and one thought only, open the paper. In that moment, my fingers buckled tight as I fought back the urge to see what was actually written on it I couldn't give myself a moment of respite until I saw whatever it was. A small crinkling sound follows as I opened the paper and to my greatest surprise I saw, Nothing. The paper was empty, and I stared blankly into it until frustration washed over me. How would was I suppose to find who sent those pictures now? I frowned and let out a small shout in frustration, I had simply wasted my precious sanity on some blank paper. I hissed again and spun around immediately I heard the door creak open and then instinctively tucked the paper away by hurrying towards my bed and stuffing it underneath the mattress. Zahra was the first person to meet my eyes and it was clear that she understood what I've just done.
