Emily Emily looked out the window of the car. It wouldn’t be long now. She was going to see Lo. It was a last minute fly by the seat of her pants type of decision that led her here. After she had spoken to June, Emily decided she was right. Maybe Lorenzo was waiting on her. There was only one way to find out. She was about to discover once and for all how he really felt about her. She was nervous.. very nervous.. to say the least. What if she arrived and he was with someone else? Lorenzo ~a few moments earlier~Lo needed to get out of the bar. He needed to get out right then. He knew exactly what was happening. And he felt like an idiot for not realizing it sooner. He’d gone through this before. When he had first shifted. It was no where near as strong then however. But that’s the first time he knew he was meant to be with Emily. He even knew what was happening to her that day in the car all those years ago when she first met Nick. Had it been so long that he had forgotten? But it was different now too. He didn’t know why. Maybe because she had let Nick go? The feelings were stronger. He felt sick… like if he didn’t get to her soon he would be a heaving mess on the floor. Things clicked for Jarvis a moment later. Lo looked at him and grunted out the words. “I’ve got to get out of here…” as if being in that building was physically hurting him. He needed to move closer to her. She must’ve come with Alan. They must be close now, or maybe even here already.

EmilySo the rest of the week she has been busy with her new horse. She had ordered a saddle and everything she needed. Lo already had saddles there she could use for now, but she wanted a special one. She named her horse ‘Storm’ because of his beautiful coloring…..he reminded her of the clouds right before a blizzard. She couldn’t wait to show her kids and Andrew and take them on rides. All in all, she was happy.. content… and at peace. The people here were genuinely so kind and polite to her. Lo introduced her to everyone as his mate … which made tingles erupt on her body every time he said the word. They were happy for him, and thankful for her. She didn’t have to constantly be looking over her shoulder, or worry about what someone might be cooking up to hurt her or her family. The entire pack was filled with good people. She found it ironic that some wolves, like Nicklaus, looked down on The Crow pack because it was made up mostly of ex-rogues. But these people weren’t rogues
