Avery's pov."Who are you calling human?" I asked, feeling that he was trying to throw a shade at me.My wolf was weak, even more weak than omega which was not a good thing."Aren't you human?" He asked.I chuckled at his words although I was feeling enraged."I'm a werewolf," I responded."But you're partly human like me," He responded to my text. I narrowed my eyes and said,"You're lucky that I'm not there with you, I would have hit your mouth for calling me a human, you indirectly told me I'm weak," Before of the kind of wolf I have, I went for training during my high school days so that I would be table to defend myself. It didn't go for waste because I even did better than other females my age who were born with strong wolves. The training only made me physically fit and strong but it didn't change the nature of my wolf."I loon forward to fell your soft palms on my lips... Oh wait, is your palm even soft," He asked with two bug eye emoji."You're such a jerk," I typed and cont

Jameson's POV After taking Avery's number from Flair, I texted her, but she didn't respond immediately. After hours, while I was still awake because I had barely gotten any sleep, she responded to my text, and we walked until I was ready for the impromptu class of the day. Pulling up in front of her house, she looked like a goddess. Her dress was awesome, and the way she stood with her hands in front of her gave me the chills. She hopped into the car, and we then had a brief conversation.Conversation? More like a brief argument. It went on for a few minutes before the car suddenly fell silent. I decided not to give her a hard time; maybe she mistook my attention for bullying. My father sponsors her fees, but there was something that Avery wasn't aware of. She believed that the reason why the Alpha sponsors her tuition is because of her grades. Unbeknownst to her, hundreds of students have good grades from prestigious schools, yet the Alpha didn’t consider them worthy of his schol

Avery's pov Nothing sounded bad with going on a date with him and like he said, it was only to make it up to me."It doesn't sound bad," I responded causing Jameson to smile. I noticed that he was specially happy although he tried to hide it.Soon, we arrived at the school premises. At the beginning of the rude, I desperately wanted the ride to come to an end quickly but after I started getting a little comfortable, I didn't want the ride to end. In fact, I was specially enjoying it."No, hold on," Jameson said, offering to open the door for me but I hissed and opened the door for myself."So you can mock me later by saying I don't have arms? I don't want that," I said, still trying to tease him at the same time.In truth, my eyes fell on the people that surrounded us, I mostly didn't want them to see Jameson hold out the door for me and start asking me millions of questions."Hey, I wouldn't say that!" Jameson said but I marrowed my eyes and quickly walked passed him, still giving

Avery's POVBeep!I suddenly received another text, "I'm here now." I read the text, and just then, I heard a knock on my door. I quickly turned to Amelia, knowing exactly who was standing outside the door."Why do you look excited? You clearly told me that you're not even interested in this, and I shouldn't call this a date, right?" Amelia said, intentionally wanting to pick on me."What? You're lying, I don't look excited," I said before walking away from her."If you say so," she responded."Just have fun," she added, waving to signal that it was time for me to go and answer the knock on the door.I didn't know why I was nervous. For one, I didn't think that I would be flattered by anything that Jameson showed me.I'm sure this is the Moon Goddess trying to play with me because, hell! I don't like him!I opened the door and wasn't surprised to see him. I flashed a smile at him, and he stretched his hand forward, taking my hand."I'm glad you didn't bail out at the last minute. Whe

Avery's POV"You know what I think? We should end the discussion about Flair and mate stuff. I liked when the conversation was light," I said when he didn't respond after asking what's wrong."Yeah, you're right." He immediately gestured for the waiter to walk over where we sat."What's our bill?" he asked. The waiter gave him the bill, and Jameson paid for the food before saying, "Do you want to head somewhere? Probably somewhere quiet," he said.I agreed by nodding my head.He stood from the chair and took my hand before heading out of the restaurant."Where are we going?"Is it far?" I asked. I was literally trying to meet up with his pace."It's just a few blocks away, just trust me," he said.We finally got to a pub, and he paid the man in charge to let us in."Wait a minute, you said that we were going somewhere quiet, what happened?" I asked."Trust me, will you?" he asked."Okay," I responded."Wait here for me," he said, but I shook my head, refusing to stay there and wait fo
