Azalea's POVI came back to the living room after putting Starr to sleep but Ace was nowhere to be found. I looked around the house and called his name several times but there was still no sign of him. That was when it dawned on me that he must have gone to meet Escola. I swallowed the feeling of hurt that rose in my chest. I trusted Ace, he wouldn't be meeting with her if it wasn't important.But I couldn't help but wonder what it was about and why he didn't tell me before leaving the house. My phone rang from the couch, breaking me out of my thoughts. I hurried to it, checked the caller id and saw that it was an unknown number.My heart started to beat faster, I remembered what happened the last time I picked a call from an unknown number, what if the same thing was about to happen again. But Ace had confirmed that his father had been taken into custody for questioning, he couldn't possibly be the one that was calling.With shaky hands, I picked the call and put it on speaker."H
