“I and Xavier Blackwell are getting married.” She announced. For some reason, the crowd cheered. Everyone seemed to be happy for her, she smiled at them and waved. Clara remained on the spot, she couldn't believe what she just heard. Xavier made eye contact with her, he didn't look away from her, neither did she.“Mum, mum.” She suddenly heard Kaylen calling her and she looked away from Xavier. Xavier kept staring at them, he noticed Clara’s expression changed to a worried one.“I can't find Kaylee.” He said.“What? What do you mean you can't find her?” She asked.“I lost her when I was chasing after her. She left the ballroom through the back, I have searched everywhere for her but I can't find her.” He raised his voice a little as tears blurred his vision. He was as sad as Kaylee was, he was just holding it all in. She being missing was making it all worse.“It's okay, calm down. I will go find her, stay with your mum.” Dexter ordered and he nodded.“It's okay, I will find her.”

“Just when I thought I would have a great day.” She sighed. She dropped her bag on her couch, folded her arms, and turned to him. He was seated on her chair with his legs on her table.“What do you want?” She asked. He ran his eyes on her before speaking.“My kids. I want my kids back.” He replied, Clara chuckled. She found his response funny.“I don't get it, did you ever have them?” She asked.“I want them.” He said sternly. His face held no expression, he sounded so cold too.“Do they want you?” Clara asked.“They will.” He replied, she chuckled recalling how they acted this morning when she tried bringing him up.“Last time I checked which was about an hour ago, you don't exist to them anymore.” She answered with a smile. Xavier didn't give a response immediately, he slowly put his legs down from her table and stood up.He put his hands in his pants pocket and looked around the office as he walked towards her.“I am getting married to Malia.” He said without looking at her, he wa

“No, no, no.” Clara muttered as she got off the bed, she rushed into her closet and got dressed in seconds. She grabbed her keys and phone and rushed out of the room. On her way, she tried calling Xavier back but the call wasn't connecting. She tried calling Dexter too but he wasn't picking up. She got out of the house, got into her car, and drove out of the mansion. She kept calling Dexter as tears welled up in her eyes, she was terrified. She had no idea where to go, so she decided to head to his house. Tears kept streaming down her eyes, she hoped he was okay. She arrived at his house in minutes and rushed out of the car. He doesn't have guards around or maids, he prefers to stay alone.“Dexter.” Clara yelled as she hit the front door, she forced the door open and rushed in. She froze when she saw him walking down the stairs.“What? What's wrong?” He asked. She rushed to him and hugged him tightly, she cried as she hugged him. Dexter was confused but he hugged her back.“Di
