JOSH POV Maddie and I make our way out of the hospital, both of us with happiness and contentment flowing through our systems. In fact, I’m smiling like crazy and I can sense the slight smugness erupting from Maddie with me by her side. We’re practically skipping down the street. Maddie says she feels fine now that she’s recovered from the forced coma to allow the aphrodisiacs that needed to clear her system. Not to mention, she’s now marked. By me. I still cannot believe I was able to not only mark her, but I joined her with a visit to the goddess, and I now have a wolf. Selene says she was feeling guilty and she wants to possibly change the wolf/human matings, but I think its more than that. Deeper. And not something she is going to share with us until she feels its time. As we walk back to the pack house, hand in hand, I feel around inside my head for my wolf. Eternity… I love his name and how parallel it is with Infinity’s. I think it’s interesti

MADDIE POV Josh has me over his shoulder and he’s sprinting to the packhouse. I can smell his arousal, and he wants me just as much as I want him, it seems. Infinity is pacing in my head, wanting to meet her mate. She’s frustrated that he needs coaxing out of Josh’s head, but I’m honestly not surprised. Nothing Selene does is ever straight forward like we think or hope it will be. Why should this be any different? Josh bounces up the steps two at a time, making me giggle at his exuberance. When he pushes through the door, I hear the packhouse get quite. Everyone is watching us and I can sense some are moving forward to greet us. Josh pauses for just a split second while he looks at everyone. “Nope.” He spurts out and then he’s making his way up the inside stairs. When we get to my door he quickly opens it with his palm print and then latches it with ‘do not disturb’. “I’m not sharing you right now.” He states matter of factly. He slaps my ass cheek

MADDIE POV The slurping and squelching sounds Eternity is making with his mouth, and fingers are purely animalistic and shouldn’t turn me on, but I can’t help it! They do! Fuck, they so do! Josh is a master pussy eater, but Eternity is something else entirely. It’s uncoordinated and messy and lacks all finesse, but it is beyond this world. Not because it doesn’t seem like he knows what he’s doing, but because he’s so consumed by his lust he’s lost all semblance of control. I know I’ve orgasmed at least three times and with each one Eternity bellows loudly, like a proud peacock, and then goes back to it. I can see his arm moving and hear the sounds of him pumping his dick, so I know he’s ready to go when I have my fourth orgasm. He doesn’t let me ride it gently, he continues his wonderful torture. When Fin and I have gone over our cliff again, we’re whimpering because we’re so sensitive, but also not completely satisfied. And I know I’m giving a litt

MADDIE POV I watch Josh walk out of the dining room with little Oli practically asleep in his arms. He’s hung onto Josh tightly tonight like Josh’s own personal little koala. I can’t help but think how great a father Josh will be when we have our own pups, which hopefully, will be soon. I feel Fin purr in agreement. I had linked to Mrs. Taylor during dinner for an update on the group home, even though I’m sure there’s a report on my desk regarding the kids she has left. Turns out, on Sunday the Parker twins will be permanently housed with Margaret, one of the kindergarten teachers, and her mate. That’ll just leave Oli in the group home, and it makes me sad. He needs interaction with other pack pups his age. He’s been at the group home longer than any other pup ever has, over eighteen months. And that is completely unacceptable, in my opinion. Our pack is amazing and just like at River View, no pack orphan is an orphan for very long. Not only do we

MADDIE POV What a little whiney bitch. Seriously? He wanted to be Alpha to my pack, but he can’t even handle taking some punches to the ribs or bamboo under the nails? Hell, he doesn’t have the constitution to have been a Beta, let alone Alpha. Did he not do any training on how to withstand an interrogation? Each and every one of my siblings and ranks underwent interrogation training, as both interrogator and captive. Granted, we never inhibited the use of our wolf’s healing ability, but we had to know what we each could handle and were our threshold was. “Where is Reid now? What is he planning?” I wait a moment then I slide a few more bamboo skewers under his nails when he doesn’t answer me. His screaming would make some interrogators cringe, but Fin and I are enjoying his pain. Not necessarily because we like seeing people in pain, but because this man deserves the most painful death possible for what he did to his pack and Alpha. Not to mention tr
