"Are you bored?" Noah asked as they drove up to Tagaytay one Saturday. She shook her head before replying. “No.”“I told you, you didn’t have to come if you didn’t want to. I would’ve been fine with it.”“There you go again. Every time we go out like this, you assume I’m already bored?” She frowned at him. “Maybe you’re the one who didn’t really want me to come, huh?”Noah laughed. “It’s not like that. I just thought maybe you don’t like road trips. I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t. Sitting in the car for hours can be a drag.”“Hmm, kind of. I’m not really one to stay glued to my phone when I’ve got nothing to do.” She had social media accounts but mostly used them to check the news. She wasn’t fond of posting or interacting online.Noah glanced at her with a smile. “I’ve noticed that. Not many women like you these days—ones who aren’t addicted to their phones.”“But I’m not bored right now, Sir. I like the view. And I already told you, it’s my first time in this place, so I agreed

When Ingrid woke up, Noah was no longer beside her. It was strange because even though she still felt groggy, she could tell something was missing from the bed. She must be getting used to sleeping next to him.She stepped out of the guest room and entered the bathroom in the hallway, then headed straight to the kitchen, where she found Ara and Manuel cooking breakfast. She was about to offer help, but they shooed her away and told her to go find Noah outside the house instead. So she just grabbed a cup of coffee and walked out the front door. She found him in the garden in front of the house, staring blankly into space with both hands tucked into the pockets of his gray pajama bottoms. She hesitated, unsure whether or not to approach him.Ingrid realized she liked seeing him like that—doing nothing, talking to no one. Noah always seemed so occupied with work. And when they were together, he would focus all his attention solely on her. She wondered if he often just spaced out like tha

"Girl, that was so hot," Lara praised as the four of them were saying their goodbyes.Ingrid merely shrugged. Even now, she was still trying to convince herself of the daring thing she had just done. She just had sex in front of strangers—and she loved it!Dana was the first to walk toward the door. "Next time you do things like this, make up your mind first, will you?" she said irritably."Next time?" Ingrid let out a sarcastic laugh, which made Dana stop in her tracks. "There won’t be a next time, Dana. I’m sure you saw the evidence, didn’t you?" she snapped, leaving Dana speechless."Right? Duh," Lara laughed in agreement, giving Dana a slight push toward the door, which Noah was already holding open."Are you satisfied now?" Noah asked playfully once their two guests had left. "You could’ve stopped us earlier, you know. I told you, we didn’t have to go through with it.""Oh, stop with the excuses!" She pointed a finger at him. "Like you would’ve actually let me stop you from screw

"Pat gave me this two years ago. I didn't wear it when we went to a resort," Ingrid said, spinning in front of Noah, wearing a two-piece red bikini. "You think it's too skimpy?"It was their second day at the beach resort. She was thoroughly enjoying herself with him. They went sightseeing yesterday and ate at a seafood restaurant. She couldn't hide her happiness from Noah as they walked hand-in-hand freely."Skimpy, yeah. But you look hot in them," Noah said admiringly. She giggled. "You think so? Is it okay with you that I wear this?""We're going to the beach. Surely you're not going to wear a coat and skirt.""You're so corny!" Ingrid laughed loudly. "Don't worry, I'm not going to walk out of the hotel like this. I'll wear shorts.""As long as you're comfortable," Noah said."I am," she said, turning back to the life-size mirror hanging beside the closet in their hotel room. "Because I'm with you," she added impulsively.Noah walked behind her, hugging her. He kissed her cheek bef

"Why are you watching me?" Ingrid laughed after drying her hair with a blow-dryer. It was Saturday afternoon, and she was getting ready to leave Noah's house. She had been there since Friday night.Noah shrugged. "I'm just going to miss you, that's all.""You're exaggerating." She pinched his cheek when she faced him. "I'll just come back here tomorrow. How's that? I already said yes to Pat tonight. It's been a week since my birthday, and we haven't seen each other yet.""That's fine. Don't overwork yourself. Take a rest tomorrow, and we'll see each other on Monday."Ingrid walked out of the bathroom, followed by Noah. The longer she stayed, the more at home she felt in Noah's house. She loved everything about it, especially his bedroom. She faced him when they were standing by the bed where her clothes were piled for her to wear when she went home."So, what will my boyfriend do while I'm gone?" She asked sweetly, then wrapped her arms around his neck.Boyfriend, really? It still fel
