My birthday was in a few days. Lizzy and Tania wouldn’t stop gushing about it. While Ella she was hardly home, but for some unknown reason, for the past one week. She had been, and she has started becoming close to me again after a long time. She apologized and said she was fine with Seven and me being together, but I told her it was okay. Because Seven and I are never going to be together, at least that’s what I thought. We haven’t seen in these past weeks. It was almost over a month we last saw. He came to the house almost every day, and Lizzy would always tell him I wasn’t home. But not until last week. She let him in, and thank goodness I was fast enough to see him, so I hid well till he got tired of waiting and left.I was thinking he’d eventually get completely exhausted from trying so hard to see me, but I guess he was a stubborn man that doesn’t take no for an answer. So he promoted from frequently visiting the house to my boutique. He visited my boutique and my P. A informed

I proceeded to meet Kay as we opened the dance floor for every other person to join. Whenever I glanced at Seven, I catch him staring at Kay and me, his gaze lingering on Kelvin’s hands on my waist. But it is the only way to dance. After the song ended, everyone clapped and went back to their seats as we all dived to meet our friends and engaged in different conversations. So I approached Gab and the guys to at least thank them for coming to celebrate with me. When I get there, Gab quickly gives me a side hug. “Happy Birthday Starr. This Is a beautiful arrangement.”“Thanks, Gab. But it was the girls that arranged all of this and that includes your woman.” I said to him and I see his face lit up in amusement before he nods.I turn to Chris and Jude, trying so hard to let go of what he did and I look at Seven who seemed ultimately silent and kept on gazing between Chris and I. I think they had a fight cause they’re mostly at each other’s neck, but seeing them like this, I know that som

CHAPTER 45✍️Still in my thoughts as I wore my flat shiny slippers, I heard the doorbell ring. “Oh shit! He’s here already.” I exclaimed as I quickly packed my makeup into the kitbag, pulled down my gown a little to straighten it, and I reached for the doorknob.I rushed down the stairs to the dining room to check if I’d successfully had everything set. Satisfied, I moved to the door to open it while my fingers trembled.I took a pause and took in a deep breath to calm my roaring nerves before I placed my hands on the doorknob to open it.And I came face to face with that familiar face I looked forward to seeing. He looked like a real man dressed in his fitted jeans and a relaxed fit shirt that skimmed his physique. His undone top two shirt buttons revealed a hint of chest, adding a touch of casual charm to his look.I had never seen him dressed in a Jean before, so it looked strange seeing him dressed like this, but it suits him so much. He looked breathtaking.

Chapter 47 I thought I had heard incorrectly, so I asked him again, quickly searching around his face with my eyes for my answer, “What did you say?”“I Love you Starr.” He repeated, his voice firm and rigid. I stared deeply into his eyes, as I tried to search for my doubts or lies, but I couldn’t find any.I hesitated for a while before I threw my tongue over my lips to lick it. “Oh my God, Seven.” I replied lowly while I tried to balance myself on the couch since we barely had space between us.My words flattered, as I still stared into his face, “You know you shouldn’t say that just because you want to have sex.”His expression turned as his forehead furrowed in a deep frown. “You still don’t believe me? You think this is all because of sex?” He threw at me, but I remained calm while my eyes lingered on him.“Starr, I’m fucking serious. I love you!” He stated again, his voice loud and guarded.I stared at him, still fumbling with my nails, “Seven, I don’t k

I looked at her when that rolled out of my mouth, but she still had a clear expression on her face. “That’s not what he asked you Starr. he didn’t ask you if you have a fucking medical condition. He asked you to be his girlfriend.”“So what? I should lie to him and lead him on for how long? Huh? I should do the same thing Charles did to me to him? Is that what you are asking me to do?” I threw at her and I saw her face softened in pain as tears flowed out of her eyes.“I just want you to be happy. I literally just want my best friend to be happy. That’s all I want.” She continued to speak as tears flowed down her eyes.I nodded my head immediately as I wiped the tears that spilled out of mine. “I understand, but I’ll be happy if he is happy.”I spoke and I see her tilt her head. “Really? Is that the lie you’ve fed yourself with? You and I know that’s a fucking lie.” She spat, and I shrugged my shoulders.“Then what would you have me do?”“Tell him about it, I am sure he wouldn’t___” I
