Admitting Defeat.

Seraphine was shocked. She knew that Alpha Daven was dangerous, but not to this extent. Just then, something came to her mind. "You're a rogue returning to a pack you ran away from, wouldn't you be punished?" She asked Gareth. He chuckled. "You're the one heading to Redwood Pack, Luna, not me," he said. Seraphine raised a brow at him. "So what do you intend to do when we get there?" "I was planning on leaving Luna. I was only given the task of taking you there, not going in with you." Seraphine kept thinking about what he said. There was something that wasn't adding up. He was a rogue who harbored hatred for her and was let into the pack. There was no way he snuck in. "You were made a guard, by whom?" She asked him. He was silent at first, but then he spoke up. "By Beta Theon." "Was the Alpha King aware that his trusted friend and ally let someone who hated his Luna into his pack?" Gareth's eyes widened. He moaned as he tried to sit up properly. He was still hurting from her assault.

A Mother's love.

Two months agoSeraphine watched as Alaric and his men trained. They needed to be prepared before heading out. Though the Elders had agreed that she would lead the pack in his absence, she still felt scared. What if something bad happens while he is away? What if something goes wrong? Seraphine and the members of the Bloodmoon pack followed Stark and his men. He led them through the woods and to the pack house. The Redmoon pack wasn't as huge and grand as the Bloodmoon pack, but the buildings looked like they were being remodeled. But what caught Seraphine's attention the most were the people in tattered clothes who were carrying bricks. There were also people dressed like Stark's men who had whips in their hands. An old man crouched down, trying to catch his breath. All of a sudden, a guy dressed in black let down his whip on him with full force. "How dare you?!" He yelled as he whipped the old man again. Seraphine's eyes widened, and her people gasped at the sight of it. She wanted to ask what was going on, but she knew exactly what it was. Seraphine was shocked. She had no idea Daven had found his mate. A part of her felt guilty. She had come from the Bloodmoon pack to the Redmoon pack to ask Daven to marry her, someone else's mate. Though she had prepared for a situation like this, seeing how cheerful Elaina was made her feel guilty. She was too nice to hurt her by taking away the Moon Goddess's gift from her. Seraphine's hand flew to her mouth. She thought Daven had gotten the scar in battle. She didn't think the previous Alpha King did that to him. "I'm sure it wasn't easy for the two of you," She said to Elaina. Elaina forced a smile on her face. "It wasn't. Daven struggled alone, but now he has me by his side," She said. The battle of wills.

Blood splashed across the table, staining the food and Seraphine's dress. She stared in horror as he wiped his blood-stained hand on Elaina's dress; well what was left of her, her body rested lifelessly on the back of the chair, half of her head squashed between Daven's fingers. Bile rose to Seraphine's throat and Elara, who was sitting beside her, rushed outside, her hand covering her mouth. Everyone else seated at the table managed to look unaffected by what happened, like it was a normal thing to kill someone with your bare hands at the dinner table, like their alpha murdering their Luna was not a big deal. As soon as she opened it, Gareth's head popped through the opening, startling both of them. He jumped through the window and into the room, immediately closing the window behind him. The chase.

Seraphine decided to go to the second brother of Alpha King Alaric. Alpha Carlson, the leader of the Bluemoon pack. She and her allies snuck out of the Redmoon pack and started their journey, heading north through the mountains. It was a steep run, but they had to move fast in order to gain ground before Alpha Daven realized they were gone. They put their clothes in their mouths and ran through the night in their wolf forms. Meanwhile, back in the Redmoon pack, About three hours after Seraphine and her pack members had escaped, the guards were still standing in front of the guest chambers. As the fight went on, the number of rogues gradually reduced. Seraphine caught sight of Alpha Daven in an intense fight with one of the masked men. His hungry eyes were on her as he let out a low growl. Another one pulled Seraphine to the side. He had a gruff and somewhat familiar accent and a scent that she couldn't place at all. "Take your people and leave. We will take care of the rogues." Seraphine looked at him confused, "Who are you people ? And, why are you helping? " She didn't finish her question because at that moment, the masked man in front of her threw his dagger at a rogue coming up behind her. "Leave now!" He yelled and went back into the fight. After the Wedding.

It has been three months since my marriage to Alpha King Alaric. Honestly, I would say we are still getting to know each other, there is just a lot to learn, but I enjoy every minute we spend together. Life in the Bloodmoon pack is completely different from how life is where I come from. I am still trying to adjust and get used to the reality of being the Luna of a pack, much less the Alpha queen of the whole kingdom. It always seems surreal whenever I think about it. I wonder how Alaric got used to this, but then I remember that he was literally born into royalty, so I guess being the Alpha is what he prepared for his whole life.
