Lahat ng Kabanata ng THE ALPHA'S CRYSTAL MATE: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

THIRD PERSON P.O.VThe sound of boot covered footsteps thudded along the hall as Damien walked slowly towards the pack meeting house. He had checked Lucien's office but he wasn't there so he was heading to the one place his brother might be, considering that his brother was a workaholic. He ran his hands through his hair as his lips pressed against each other in a thin line and his eyes narrowed into a frown, he wasn't proud of what he had said back in the room but he wasn't that eager to apologize."Oh well, lets just get it done." He mumbled to himself as he approached the door. His ears twicthed as he heard the voices of two Elder wolves which he was familiar with. With a sigh, he opened the door and then his eyes widened. "Alpha, you just have to choose one and make her your mate, that way, you can solve your problem of a mate and bring balance to the pack." Elder Samson, a man in his late forties with bushy brown hair and an ambitious gleam in his brown eyes spoke as he pushed

THIRD PERSON P.O.VThe women were thoroughly soaked to the skin with water, their hair was matted and plastered to their body, their heavy makeup was already flowing down their faces giving them a scary look. Damien frowned as he could make out shrimp scales and pieces leafy vegetables. The heavy smell of fish permeated the air and made him step farther away from them. "How could this happen""Who did this? My hair! My makeup!" They all screamed as they accessed their bodies."I don't know what happened, are you girls okay?" Damien asked with concern in his face but he dared not giving near them."Sir Damien, please can you help us?""Yes, can we take a bath in your place, please" They both implored him but Damien hurriedly shook his head with a look of horror on his face. The idea of letting them back into the pack house and into his room, to be tormented by the bad smell of fish was not in any way alluring to him so he didn't care if they might think he was heartless and cruel."N

THIRD PERSON P.O.VThe office was dim and quiet as Damien stood in front of his brother, he suddenly felt like he had gone back in time to when he was little and had gotten in a bit of a trouble, when his mother would question him, this was what he was feeling like. He hated it, this dreadful feeling, well he guessed this was what one needed to go through before he could gain a peace of mind and conscience."I'm sorry""For what?"Damien sighed as he scratched his hair, glancing at the office to avoid looking at his brother who sat with his hands on his chin, also not looking at him."You know what I'm talking about" he grumbled."Damien a lot of things have happened, do you think I can pinpoint exactly what you are apologizing for?" He asked him as he finally looked up at him, his purple eyes which looked calm as if he felt no emotion was getting a bit darker. Damien took a deep breath."I'm sorry for what happened earlier in your room. I was going to apologize a lot earlier than this

AVERY'S P.O.VI was in a fairly dim room on a narrow bed with my hands tied and my mouth gagged. The room was empty except for the bed I was on and a single dusty chair, there was only one window on sight and it was a bit large but it was covered with a black cloth blocking the light. I don't know how it happened. I remember I was heading to Lucien's office but then I heard noises coming from outside and so I went to check what it was and the next thing I was bound and something was draped over my head, I remember being roughly flung onto something and being carried away. And now, I have been kept here for the past thirty minutes and no one has come to check on me. The least they could do was to show their face. I looked down at the ropes tied tight on my hands and legs, it was hopeless. The ropes were too thick and sturdy, there was no way I could pry them loose just like that. An idea clicked in my head, I could shift and I'm sure my body structure would change enabling me the chance

AVERY'S P.O.VThe whole place was quiet after Jessica's outburst. Everyone stared at me in shock as they began to murmur."I knew something was fishy about her""She just came to our pack suddenly and worked her way up to alpha Lucien""Do you think she knew she was his mate?""And she is an omega, she is not fit to be our Alpha's mate"I stayed silent in the midst of all these numbers, there was nothing I could do but mope with my eyes wide open as I stared at everyone. "Alpha, is it true? She is your mate?"An elder stepped forward with an incredulous look on his wrinkled face. "We already knew you had a mate but...her? Is she really?" Another elder asked.Lucien was silent so I glanced at him so I could hear him speak but it seemed like he had no intention speaking because his face was impassive as he stared down at Jessica who maybe might have realized that she had messed up. She was biting her lips and wringing her hands as she glanced occasionally at Lucien but not meeting my e
