Third POVLater when Lloyd got home, and that was almost immediately she had that little conversation with Regina, she continued with her anger session, transferring her anger at basically everyone. "What the hell is going on, really! It doesn't make sense!" Lloyd spat out her rage freely at her son. "I don't understand. How was Regina able to influence...how did she even know who Mr Royce was! It was supposed to be confidential. Did you tell her about this?" Dan's face was a mask of fury. How dare that man talk to him like that! He had no right over Regina, because why will he boast that he was going to support and stand by her till the end, and that Dan should stop seeing her again. How dare him speak to Dan like that?"Why do you think I would tell Regina about something like that!" It was an effort to control his rage. Lloyd didn't even mind at the point, that he was trying to talk back to her. She crashed on the couch, hands buried in her head."My plan was supposed to work. I

Regina's POVIt still felt like a dream until I found myself at the cafeteria, helping myself with cups of coffee for prince charming Nicholas!"It's so early in the morning, and he just calls me to make coffee for him? No please? Besides, why am I the one making coffee for him! Is he still angry at me??." it didn't still make that he would make me do his coffee! Was that normal in other organizations?? Was this part of my new job roles?I got back to his office, with the cups of black coffee with me, and it was a struggle knocking on his door carrying two hot cups, but finally, I heard his response. Stepping in, he didn't even raise his head up to take a look at me. "Here's your coffee." I announced, placing it on the table. This time, his eyes lifted up to meet mine. They were not nice. "Where's the other one?" I wasn't following and I made no effort to hide the disinterest in my eyes. "What other cup? You asked for two.""I did? I thought it was three cups you were making." He s

Third POV"You guys, I'm so glad that we're meeting here today." Kimberly said to Tania and Mary. It was strange they would be meeting at that bar in broad daylight when they were even supposed to be at their various workplaces. Tania didn't really understand the obsession with Regina especially now that they had punished her already, why were they still always scheduling meetings just to talk about her!She turned to Mary and realized that Mary was a full time enemy of Regina, or at least, she had decided that was what she wanted to be."Kim, I don't understand why you've called us here. You said it was an emergency but everything looks fine." Tania said, but the cold looks she got from Mary and Kimberly signified she should have just kept her mouth shut."We're here now, isn't that what is most important? You talk too much, Tania." Mary snapped."It's okay," that playful smile had returned back to her face again. "You know why we're here. We talk about it every night on the group c

Regina's POV I shrugged off that thought and reminded myself that I was still angry with him. "You need to start standing up for yourself. If you need anything, I'll be here to assist you. Isn't that the whole point, I thought you'd have known that by now. Mike and I are here for you." This statement softened my heart. No one has ever been there for me. No, when I thought about it, I realized how true that was. Dan was only with me because of the sex? I don't know. Kimberly apparently always loved Dan even while we were dating and she never told me for once! And Mary and Tania? They were supposed to be my friend. "Thanks that really means a lot to me." I gave a genuine smile. Seeing that we were bonding and whatever, I decided to try my luck again. "By the way, you really have to tell me what's wrong with Mike. Please." That soured look returned to his face. "His mom is dying. I mean, she has been unresponsive to treatment, her blood pressure spiked and um...well that's it."

Regina's POV"But I only took your glasses, I didn't take any bracelet!" I tried to explain. The commotion just kept getting loud and loud. Nicholas stepped in, "what's going on here?" Madam Georgia took the opportunity to explain. "She stole my bracelet. And won't confess to her crimes, I mean, what a thief she is!" "I didn't take anything. I swear it!" I was already getting frightened. When Lizzy said I would pay for what I did on Wednesday, maybe she really did meant it and unlike me, she wasn't bluffing. Clearly, this was a set up. But how to defend myself and prove my innocence is what I was afraid I couldn't do. I wasn't a thief! My eyes met with Nicholas and damn it, I could feel tears building up as my eyes became teary. "Regina is not a thief. This is all wrong!" Dawn kept on saying. "Why don't we search her? Its clear you won't find anything with her but let's search her to prove her innocence, I'll volunteer. Let's search her right now. Regina, where's your bag?." "Y
