Chapter 22Alexander’s POVI sat on the bed and rubbed my chest. The pain had just stopped, but it still left a deep ache inside me. It happened every full moon, and I was used to it now, but it still felt like something was breaking inside me every time. I closed my eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. CHAPTER 24Alexander’s POVThe morning sun rose slowly, casting a soft light across the quiet road. It wasn’t hot, just calm. I stood outside in the garden of the Maldives, there was a road connecting the garden but it was not frequently used like the normal main road's which was the reason why I chose here to wait for the driver taking us to the airport.Sarah was standing with me but then went to settle on the bench, she complained of stressing herself. I just laughed. We didn't talk after that, all I did was concentrate on the road and my phone together. Either expecting the driver to call me or arrive through the road. I glanced at her from the corner of my eye to check on how she was faring. I caught her looking at me too — but that was for only a second — she turned away fast. Chapter 26Sara's POV I screamed so loud as soon as I saw the dog boune towards me. My heart jumped into my chest. I thought I was going to die.
