Ellie’s POV If the rogues are not free to leave, they are held captive. I don’t like it when humans cage animals, and I certainly don’t like it when a person does it to another person. The guards stood side by side with their backs to me. All of them were over 6 feet tall and in military uniforms. To a lesser person, I could imagine they were quite intimidating. But they don’t scare me.People were crying and praying to their goddess to save them. I felt it was my duty to protect them regardless of who they were. They had done nothing wrong. “What are you going to do?” Kiki asked. She was worried that if I got angry, I would hurt not only the guards but also the ones I was trying to save. I clenched the small bunny in my hand. “I need to get inside,” I told her. So, I did what anyone would. “Hey, mister, let my mom go. Or you’ll be sorry.” I yelled. There were growls, and a guard broke the barrier and rushed over to me. He grabbed me by the hair, forcing me to walk toward the gap
