ALEXANDER’S POV The sun was golden overhead, casting a warm, late afternoon glow over the park as we pulled into the gravel lot. Trees danced lazily in the breeze, and the distant sound of children laughing floated through the air. Franklin was already unbuckling himself before I turned off the engine. “This is it!” he chirped, eyes wide with glee. “Can we go now, Daddy?!” There it was again...Daddy.
