Shawn’s POV “Where’s my wife?” I asked Doreen. Of course, I had gone to the room, and she was nowhere to be found. “I just served her drinks in the movie room,” Doreen answered, making me arch my brow. I knew my home had a theatre room, but I could count how many times I had been there. I don’t even think I recalled how it looked. “How long has she been there?” I couldn’t help but ask. “More than an hour now.” “Did she have her food, take her meds? Did the doctor come to check on her?” I asked, knowing I had instructed Doreen to keep a close eye on my wife.“Yes, he came to check up on her. She did well with breakfast and lunch but wants nothing for dinner.” “Okay, thank you,” I mumbled, then made my way to the theatre room. I pushed the door open to be met with my wife’s laughter.
