Lahat ng Kabanata ng ONCE FORSAKEN, NOW THE LYCAN KING’S LUNA: Kabanata 91 - Kabanata 100

SOFIA'S POV I was flabbergasted. What exactly was going on? All of this wasn't in the picture. Why had the nice and friendly Selene suddenly grown cold and totally unfriendly? The more I pondered on it, the more heartbroken I became.“She'll come around soon enough,” Dane assured, pulling me into him. Tears cascaded down my face in large torrents. I allowed them to flow freely as I glared at the door.“How sure are you that she would.”“She's my sister and I'm assuring you that she'll be back.”He pulled me gently with him until we were in our bedroom. I remained in his arms, sobbing.“This is all your fault.”It was sudden, abrupt. He lowered his head to me, brows creasing. “I know it is, and that's why I'm assuring you not to worry. Since I brought this trouble, then you should leave me to sort it out.”I sniffed, not convinced.Suddenly, my belly rumbled. I clutched tightly at it, wondering if Dane heard it or not. He smiled, sinisterly. Obviously, he was aware of it. “We shou

SOFIA'S POV I stood, rage washing freely through me.There was no way what I just read was real, right? My blood? The more I pondered on it, the more confused I became. My hand reached for the shiny scroll again, pulling it open. My eyes scanned quickly through it in shock.“The rare gifted Wolf of Sofia is the only thing that can break the long standing Lycan curse,” the message read further. Now, I was entirely confused. I didn't have a wolf. How is it possible that my rare gifted Wolf is the one to cure Dane when I didn't even have to start it?Or was he playing a prank on me? Did he place it in his bag knowing I was going to unbox it?“No!! There's no way that's a prank..” I began pacing forth and back the room, my heart pounding against my chest.“Sofia, calm down. You need to relax.” I ran my hands gently over my breath as I tried to calm myself down.It was all in vain. There was only one thing that could pacify my anger— speaking to Dane directly. Shouldn't he be back from w

DANE’S POV There was no doubt Sofia had seen the scroll in my bag. That wasn't the major issue. I was worried she would begin to have wrong thoughts.I ran out of the room, searching all over the place. I needed to get back the scroll no matter what.Looking for Sofia was also paramount. There was no doubt she had left me. Surely, after reading the contents of the scroll, she would have imagined what sort of person I was.I could picture what was running through her mind wherever she was right then. All of those didn't exactly matter to me at that moment. All I wanted was to find her and bring her back to me. I wanted to hold her in my arms and assure her that all was fine.I needed her to bear me a child, then I also wanted to know if she truly could break the curse that was stopping him from becoming the most powerful Lycan king to ever exist. Most importantly, I loved Sofia and cared so much about her. She was now a major part 0f my world.I searched through the entire hotel by my

SOFIA'S POV I sat alone in the small room. The walls were bare, and the light above me flickered now and then like it was about to go out. The air was cold, and there was a strange smell—something like damp wood mixed with dust. There were no windows, only a door. A heavy, thick, metal door that looked like it hadn’t been opened in a while.I didn’t know how long I had been there. Hours? Maybe days? There was no way to tell. I had nothing but the clothes on my back and my thoughts to keep me company. And those thoughts… They were loud. They kept shouting inside my head, louder than anything else in the room.“This isn’t right,” I whispered to myself, hugging my knees. “They can’t just keep me here like this. What did I even do?”*But no one answered.Suddenly, I stood up. My heart was beating fast. I was tired of waiting. Tired of being scared. I walked to the door with fast steps and banged on it with both hands.“Jackson! Mike!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. “Can someone h

SOFIA'S POV I remained still, my back straight and my eyes locked firmly on Jackson’s. I didn’t blink. I didn’t move. I didn’t even breathe too hard. The cold, steel barrel of the gun was pointed right at my chest. But somehow… I didn’t feel afraid. Not anymore.Maybe it was because I had already felt what it was like to be truly alone. To be trapped. To be silenced. Maybe fear had dried up inside me like an old well, and now there was nothing left but numbness and quiet strength.I saw it in Jackson’s eyes—he expected me to scream, to cry, to beg for my life. But I didn’t.I just stared.Still.Unflinching.A part of me even hoped he would pull the trigger. Maybe that would end it all. Maybe that would be easier than waiting in the dark, not knowing what was going to happen next.He kept his arm raised a second longer, but then something changed in his expression. His mouth twisted, almost like he was frustrated that I wasn’t giving him the reaction he wanted. He slowly lowered the
