Kieran's POV I knew I was late, but I didn't think it would be that bad, not until I gazed out the window of my vehicle. The stars twinkled in the night sky, and for a while, I found myself thinking about how they had come out pretty quickly tonight. The thought had barely register itself in my mind, when a thought popped up.Maybe the stars weren't the early ones, you just worked a little more than you were supposed to. A small sigh slid past my lips, as I pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration. My body ached in ways I didn't know was possible, and even though I didn't feel like moving a muscle, I knew I couldn't stay put. The driver has pulled into the palace grounds a full twenty minutes ago, but I was too exhausted to even sit up. It was surprising, but somewhere between leaving and arriving here, I'd fallen asleep.
