SARAH I just promised Aunt Olivia that I will get her the information she seeks about Lillian. Deep down, I know the task is tedious and I can’t help but involve Caleb. She had her attention glued to her phone and I kept asking what she was doing. She made it clear that she was checking her mails for her schedules for the month. I tried to crack up jokes and it was nice to see her laugh. “Let’s go home. It is getting late.” I said, picking my bag and leaving my chair. She gave a nod and also stood up. We got home and saw Nelly anxiously staring at the door, expecting our return. “I missed both of you, I felt lonely.” He said. Aunt Olivia approached him and kissed his forehead. “We miss you too, we had a lot to attend to.” I said softly. I prepared dinner, we ate and had a family time filled with laughter. After ensuring Nelly and Aunt Olivia had slept, I picked my laptop and began to work on a new design. That moment, my phone rang, it was a call from Caleb. “Sarah, will yo

SARAHIt was a business trip so I promised myself to look my best. It’s possible to get clients at any place.I arrived the airport and I met Caleb and Silas standing next to each other.“Wow… Sarah you looking so sexy.” Silas said and I appreciated his compliment with a bright smile. I noticed the cold expression on Caleb’s face but didn’t want to conclude that he was jealous.“You were here right on time.” Caleb finally spoke to me with a calm tone. There was something about the way he looked at me. His still gaze did a lot of things to my body and I could feel my breast tingling. We were outside for crying out loud, I wondered why my body still falls for him despite all he did to me. I cleared my throat and stood next to him so his gaze doesn’t do more to me.Soon, we were led to his private jet. Caleb and I sat facing each other while Silas sat in the adjacent direction. Caleb asked me to use the sleeper cabin but I refused.Few minutes on board, I felt sleepy and my yawns made it

SARAH“This can’t be! How did it get into my bag? I promise I will never stoop so low to steal. I can’t do anything to tarnish my image and that of the brand that I am trying to build.” I said, widening my hands trying to prove my innocence.“Keep quiet! This proves that you’ve been capitalizing on the hard work of others to build your brand. Your secrets have been exposed today!” The security guard spilled.“Someone could have done this.” I whispered and little did I know that my words were audible for the security guard to hear.“Who could have done it?” He asked with his voiced laced with mockery. At that point, I didn’t know what to do or say. If this happened back home, I would have concluded that Lillian and her cohort are at it again. In a strange city, who exactly did this?“Hold on,” Silas pointed at the security guard. “Could it be you planted this in her bag? Why did you walk straight to her instead of checking the person who was at the extreme end first?”Silas word made s

SARAHThe workshop continued but I couldn’t concentrate. I was thinking of the best way to appreciate Caleb even though he was sitting next to me.I placed my hand on his hand. He glanced at me with surprise evident on his face. “Thank you for all you do for me.” I whispered, tightening my grip on his hand.“You don’t have to appreciate me. Whenever I do things for you, I am indirectly doing it for myself.” He smiled, kissed my hand and I quickly let go of his hands.Beyond words, I hope his heart feels my true gratitude.I could feel my heart racing against its confines as though I had never felt his lips against my skin. Ignoring his side glances, I pretended to have my attention on the podium. It's been over ten minutes since Silas excused himself. I was about to ask about his whereabouts when I saw him walking over wearing a frown.“From all the security said, there’s no way to identify the person who wore the hood but the investigation is still ongoing.“Hmm, the culprit can’t

SARAH‘Caleb is worried about you. Where are you? I received a call from him, please talk to him as fast as possible.’It was a message from aunt Olivia. He reached out to her because he knows she has a soft spot for him and will cajole me to dance to his tone.‘Alright, aunt.’ I replied to the message with a heavy heart. I don’t want to tell her that the man she is supporting is the man behind my worries. I am confused; I fell flat on the bed.Just then, I heard a voice outside the door.“Sarah, come out. Let’s talk.”I recognized the voice; it was that of Silas. What did he want to talk about? Caleb must have sent him. I moved closer to the door.“Speak, I can hear you.” I uttered softly.“The discussion has to be in person,” he said.I opened the door only to be greeted by a smile from Silas and a sober look from Caleb. I knew that Caleb was at the door but he chose to be quiet.“You don’t have to talk to Caleb and I at the same time.” I complained.I turned to return to my room w
