Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alpha's Regret After I Died : Kabanata 331 - Kabanata 338

Melissa’s POVI stood there looking down at Liz, Arthur and their four beautiful babies.Three boys and one little girl.My hands shook at my sides, and my heart ached so badly I could hardly stand, but I forced myself to stay where I was.Frank was gone.He was dead. The words kept moving through my head, but they still did not feel real. My neck still burned from where he had marked me. His scent was still on my skin. If I closed my eyes, I could still feel his hands on me, still hear his voice telling me he loved me.But he was gone. There was nothing I could do for him now.And that hurt worse because I was a witch. I had spent my life fixing things people said could not be fixed. I had pulled Liz back. I had held Arthur’s body together. I had fought death for months. But I knew in my heart Frank’s death was final.Liz looked up at me, her eyes filled with pain and happiness. “Thank you,” she smiled.I closed my eyes, looking away. I couldn’t take it. I turned, leaving the room.“

Finn’s POVGod, I was tired.“Why are the elders being so pushy?” Cecilia said as I walked her back to the palace.I grunted.Cecilia’s elbow slammed into my ribs. “Are you even listening to me?”I hardly moved. My body was too tired to.Sleep hadn’t been my friend for some time now. The guilt and regrets that haunted me made sure of that.I shouldn’t have gone after Lumian. If I had just followed Liz, then maybe Arthur would still be here.I should have stayed with her. That was the thought that kept crawling through my head every time I closed my eyes.If I had followed Liz.Cecilia hit me again. Harder this time. I stepped to the side. “Okay, I’m…”The words died in my throat.Melissa walked through the entrance with blood on her hands and dress, blood smeared across one side of her face.My mind refused to understand what I was seeing. Someone was floating in front of her.I froze.Frank.His body moved through the air, held by her magic, his arm hanging loose, his head turned sli

Liz’s POVOne of my pups wiggled beside me. I slowly opened my eyes, the sun slipping in through the curtains, making everything blur around me.Three tiny faces lay peacefully sleeping; my eyes moved to Arthur. My heart seized with so many emotions; I couldn’t breathe. He was home.By some moon goddess miracle, he was home.I smiled, letting the moment linger. One of the pups stirred, moving closer to Arthur; he let out a tired groan, a smile growing on his face. All the pain and suffering that I went through was all worth it just for this one perfect moment. My wolf stirred inside me. ‘He did this for us.’She wasn’t talking about Arthur.I closed my eyes, letting out a long, slow breath before slowly opening my eyes and pushing myself up off the bed. My body screaming at me in protest and pain, but I ignored it.He had done this for us.Frank. My father had died last night so we could live in peace.I grabbed a robe from the back of a chair, put it on, and wrapped it tightly around

Six years laterLiz’s POVThe royal city had changed a lot.Finn and Cecilia had done an amazing job at getting everything put back together. The car turned towards the palace.I probably should have felt guilt about staying away for so long. We had only planned on leaving for a year at most. But life was peaceful and perfect; it was so hard to leave.“Look, Mum,” Frankie tapped on my knee, pointing out the window. “Is that where we are going to live?”I followed her finger. The palace rose above the city, gold light shining against the stone walls. It looked softer than I remembered, less like a place built to survive war and more like home.“That’s it,” I said.Frankie’s eyes widened. “It’s huge.”Arthur chuckled from beside me. “You were born there.”Her head snapped towards him. “I was?”“You and your brothers,” he said, brushing his hand over Leo’s hair as he slept against his side.AJ leaned forward, pressing his face to the window. “Does Uncle Finn live there?”The car rolled t
