Emerson Em picked up her phone and snuck out into the hallway of the hotel, luckily remembering to grab her key card. She didn’t want to wake Asher or the others up… but she did want to speak to Evan .. even if it was the middle of the night. She swiped the screen as quickly as she could. “Hello?”she whisper yelled. “Em?? Are you okay what’s wrong?” Evan said very frantically. He was NOT whisper yelling. She sighed. Of course he would think something was wrong. She didn’t explain anything in the text and she should have known he would panic. “No I’m okay Evan .. nothing is wrong .. not .. really I just needed to talk to you. I just figured you’d call me in the day time.” She explained. He sighed then.. clearly relieved. “I’m so sorry Em I just got to my phone I left it in the room today and then we went to eat and then for drinks ….” He cut off. “Oh… where um … where are you?” She asked cautiously .. she was wondering if he’d tell her he was home. Maybe he just didn’t think

EmEm woke up the next morning feeling light. Light, bright, and wide awake. She felt better than she had in ages. She wasn’t sure what the turning point had been… saying goodbye to her past with River, letting go of the crutch she had with Evan, or maybe because her body was free from medication for once. Who knew exactly. Maybe it was everything .. maybe it was a combination. But the why didn’t matter so much. The fact that she felt great was all that mattered to her. She woke up feeling so good in fact, that she went around the suite singing and jumping on all the beds to wake the others. No one else seemed to be ready to wake up though. So she took it upon herself to get dressed and ready for the day and walk down to the cafe that was next to the hotel. They had great coffee and breakfast there. Even though she could barely carry everything she made it back to the room with six coffees and six breakfast sandwiches. The others were getting around and waking up once she returned

Emerson She felt like her heart was exploding. The difference from the way she felt this morning… and how she felt in that moment were night and day. She had heard the conversation between the twins and their parents and immediately came back downstairs before they caught her eavesdropping. She stared at the pill bottle that lay on top. Then she grabbed it and opened it, popping two in her mouth. Then she grabbed her pain medication and took a couple those. Her shoulder was killing her. It always acted up now after the wreck .. the doctors told her it might always cause problems. So now she had that to look forward to for the rest of her

QuinnAfter he and the guys had spent a couple of hours going over and perfecting the plan.. he felt pretty good about the possibility that this would lure his brother out. He had to hand it to them. The guys had really helped him out. It would take a few days to get everything set up. So all he had to do was wait.. wait and hope like everything Huxley didn’t try something between now and then. Quinn. He’d taken Dany home.. and as much as he wanted to go inside and stay with her, he had to figure out what was going on with Em. His dad hadn’t texted him anymore. And he was too filled with anxiety to ask him, scared of what answer he might get. He knew she was safe. Even if she was at Rainn’s house those people had security as if they were fucking movie stars. And he knew his dad would follow her if she left.
