Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mated To Two, Marked By One : Kabanata 81 - Kabanata 90

Luca's PovTyler sighed. My thoughts seemed to be mirrored on my face because he gave me a soft sad look.“Luca, this isn't something you can keep from her. You have to tell her.”“Won't she be better of without knowing? What if she finds out and takes it upon herself to develop said abilities? Right now, her abilities are just awakening, if she doesn't know about it they might remain dominant. If she doesn't use her abilities, no one will know she has them. Thanos won't be able to get her that way.”“Listen to yourself Luca.” He didn't look disgusted but I could picture the look on his face so clearly that it almost looked like he was. You're just obsessed…you don't love her…“You want to subdue a part of the woman you love just because you're afraid? That means you don't believe in yourself to protect her, it means you don't even believe that she can protect herself in your absence. I'm not even going to talk about your lack of faith in me or the pack.”“I'm sorry,” I rubbed my face

Samantha Pov “Lily…you can't do this!... not now…” Xavier murmured as he cradled her body in his arms. She didn't respond.“Please!!” He begged, his voice hoarse from crying. “I just got you back…” He buried his face in her neck, wetting her body with his tears.I clenched my arm closer, sobs racking through my body. My sister that I just gained was dead. She died protecting me.She should have just left! She should have ignored me and kept her nose out of whatever the fuck this fight was about.“...you should have taken the advice you gave…” I cried. In that moment, the fighting around me became nothing but background noise, the fact that my life was in danger meant nothing. My whole world reduced to Lily, my sister.Xavier gave me a pained look over his shoulder, his eyes were red but he wasn't crying anymore.Do you blame me?... I couldn't bring myself to ask him.He gently picked her up, my heart ached at the way he cradled her. He held her like she was the most precious thing in

Samantha’s PovAfter a few knocks, Luca popped his head inside the room.“May I come in?”“Sure,” I responded, and he entered the room. He strode to the bed and sat down beside me. I shifted, sinking into the sheets.“How are you feeling?” he asked.Terrible. I feel terrible. I didn't respond; I just kept mute, my eyes focused on the door.“Hey,” he said, tucking strands of hair off my face and brushing them to my ear.“You know you can tell me anything, right?”“I know.”“You have been in your room for days, and I am worried about you.”“You don't have to be. I am fine,” I lied. No matter how much I try to sleep, I can't. The picture of my dead sister still haunts me, and it is all my fault. If she hadn't tried to save me, this wouldn't have happened.I ruin everything. I am nothing, nothing but a liability.“Talk to me, please. Just talk to me. I don't like seeing you hurt this way, so please, talk to me.”“What do I say?” I asked.“Anything. If you need to vent it all out, then do

Samantha’s Pov“Show me already!” I shrieked happily as Luca dragged me along. He blindfolded me, saying he had a surprise to show me. The sound of horses neighing told me we had walked into the stables.“We are in the stables? What is it, Luca? Tell me already,” I said happily. We came to a stop, and he went behind me, his fingers brushing my neck as he removed the blindfold.I opened my eyes immediately and scanned what was in front of me. A horse – white and majestic. The mane was long, grazing over the body and down to the head of the tail.“I got her for you. You needed a horse for your riding lessons. If you want, I can help you with those lessons, or Xavier could. Whatever you want, really,” he said, looking down shyly.I smiled, pulling him into a tight hug. “Thank you! Thank you! I love her so much!”“You do?”I placed a small kiss on his forehead. “You chose her for me, and I love her already…”He smiled, shining his white thirty-two teeth. “I'm glad you love her. I was skep

Samantha’s Pov“Oh… this smells good,” I said as the waiter placed the plate of food on the table. The steak was perfectly done; its rich scent was all that wafted throughout the room.“Thank you.” He nodded and walked away with the empty tray in hand. God, the food looked so good just looking at it. My stomach grumbled in agreement.I looked back up at Luca shyly, catching his toothy grin. I hadn’t eaten anything all day because I was saving room for this dinner date.I dug in, cutting smaller pieces of my steak. With my full attention on my food, I scooped up some rice and brought it to my lips. The spicy, delicious taste hit my buds, and I closed my eyes, moaning in delight. It was so good.“You must be hungry. You didn’t eat much today, did you?”“No, I didn’t,” I confessed. “I wanted to eat here with you.”He smiled and stared at me, shaking his head playfully.“What?”“You have rice right there,” he said, pointing to the side of his lips. Slowly, he reached out his hand and wipe
