RAVEN’S POVI fell asleep on the bus on my way home from work, but luckily, my house is at the end of the bus route. “Ma’am,” I heard someone call me, and felt a light tap on my shoulders, jerking me awake. I jumped, my eyes snapping open to find the bus driver's warm brown eyes peering down on me. The compassion I saw in their muddy depths brought tears to my eyes. These days, I cry at the drop of a hat, and I would like to blame it all on my hormones, but the days have been horrific, and the nights are a sleeping nightmare. Since I escaped from Victor, leaving my Pack and everything I know, things have not been the same, but this is a story for another time.
