Xavier: Sleeping next to Charlotte didn’t seem like a good idea after the way she acted out. Xavier We left Sophia’s office and immediately got in the car. I studied the address for a bit and then I began driving. After about 30 minutes of driving, it seemed like I was lost as I wasn’t getting any closer to any residential area. I tried to use a digital map but the signal was bad so I gave up. “Let’s just go back to the orphanage if you don’t get the place,” Charlotte said, breaking the awkward silence in the car. I didn’t say any more words and I just continued driving, hoping that I would find the place soon or even find someone that can help us with a clear description of the place. Charlotte: Finding out my father didn't want me was one thing, but finding out that my mother, the only person who might have truly loved me, was dead is another. Xavier tried to calm me down by holding my hands, but I was just too upset. I had no idea what I expected to find out about my real parents, but this was way worse. A dead mother who suffered till death and an evil father was just so unexpected. “We should leave if we want to get home early,” I whispered to Xavier. As much as I enjoyed hearing stories about my mother, I could not stand to hear how much she suffered anymore.
