AuroraThe day I dreamt of finally came, I stood in front of the full mirror in my room. My head properly tucked in, with a hair pin with beautiful colored stones adorned on it. It gave me a sophisticated look as I wore green colored earrings designed with the latest trends in fashion. My face was touched on with high-class makeup that brought out the spark in my eyes and my eye-lids and lashes perfectly arranged. My plum lips were plastered with red lipstick that made them more attractive. The neckline was covered with a green-ember diamond necklace, which shined brightly. It matched the earrings, which solidified with a classy look. I wore a long green gown that flowed to the floor. It was without sleeves, just two thin strands on my shoulders supporting the dress. It was measured accurately with my curves, which accentuated it with the streamlined gown. It highlighted all the right places, which even left me astonished at its perfection.I couldn’t help but feel proud of myself for

AuroraI turned to see if I could meet the intent gaze, but the stage light was too bright for me to see anyone. Darius had a concerned facial look as he glanced at me.“Are you ready to this, Aurora?” he asked calmly. I regained my composure and faced his direction.“I’m ready now.” I said with certainty. Darius curved his lips to reveal a broad smile, as we faced the crowd still holding our hands. We interlocked our fingers, to present a united front.“It’s also my honor to present to you, from ancient myths passed down from generations to generations of the legend story. I present to you Aurora the white wolf!” he yelled out on top of his lungs, it felt he was more happy than even myself of the recent development. This made chuckle quietly, still anticipating the shocker of the turn of events this evening. The crowd went full silent, after his utterance. The demeanor suddenly changed, as the atmosphere became tensed.I could my heartbeat race fast, as sweat slowly clustered on my f

DariusThe news of Aurora becoming the white Luna had gone far and wide across the various kingdoms. People from all over started trooping into our pack to meet the mystical wolf.It was hard at first for Aurora to adapt and get used to. With time, though, she became more comfortable and displayed more of her leadership role. Meanwhile, my amazement and adoration continued to increase, seeing her making new strides and growth. We went for a stroll outside the palace. After some insistence from her, I finally surrendered to her demands, and we went to the marketplace.Escorted by our bodyguards, she roamed freely and played around in a joyful manner.“The sunlight is radiating today, don’t you think?” she inquired as she occasionally glanced at me as she greeted the people.“Oh, it's the Luna!” one of the market people yelled out to others. They widened their mouths in awe as they surrounded us.I took a deep sigh, staying careful and protective. Yet, my wolf signaled I should make it

DariusHe was taken aback by my questions, but he managed to regain himself quickly. He forced an unconvincing smile on his face.“I don’t have any sponsor, will it all be me?” he said menaciously. I gazed at him deeply, and I was shocked by his sudden change in character.“I don’t believe you. We have known each other for many years. I was there for your wife and kids. People don’t just change overnight. Why the sudden sentiment?” I inquired gently. I believed there was still a slimmer of hope that the kind, caring person was still there deep down. His facial expression suddenly faded into a dull, pitiful look. Like who has no more options. He glanced around the cell and stopped at Aurora. Instantly, his face turned red in fury.“It’s all her fault, if only she never came here and charmed you. You won’t be considering making an outsider a Luna!” he shouted. I clenched my fists in rage, but my immediate attention focused on Aurora as his statement made her stunned and also sad.I trie

EmberAt that instant, it felt my whole world was tumbling down. Not in a million years, did I ever believe Damon would bring up my non-wolf form. Even though, our initial reason for union was simply for political alliance. However, over time I have come to love him deeply. To the extent, I am willing to do anything for him. Yet, to stand and be chastised for not having a wolf-form was something unimaginable.Even though it was custom for the Luna to have a strong wolf form before she was coronated. Damon stood beside me and insisted I was his choice regardless of my wolf status. That illuminated my love for him. My eyes widened in shock, as I stared at the man who I was to face all the world to point out my deficiencies without a shred of sympathy. His eyes were cold and emotionless as his face remained unfazed. This sent shivers down my spine.“Is this his true nature, or is he just saying this to upset me?” I mumbled to myself. It was hard to phantom this was his real personality s
