I was never Human의 모든 챕터: 챕터 81 - 챕터 90

Brandon's POV:I was shocked. I would've thought maybe it was my imagination, but with how Lisa and Daniel reacted, I knew I wasn't the only one to have seen it. Her eyes glowed a bright green with a golden rim. Not only that, for a split second, an overwhelmingly oppressive aura fell over me, where I almost submitted to it. I knew it came from Kwen. It's clear to me that she has had enough with being stifled and the constant back and forth with Lisa. I knew for a fact that if she got the chance, she'd probably kill Lisa. Which would kill me, and I don't think she'd care all that much. Kwen was not about to move, so Stephen took her upstairs. I looked back at Ben and Nicole as they coddled their sons. Dr. Mason looked them over, and he actually seemed worried."We need to get them to the medical center. They have way too much wolfsbane in their system. It's disrupting their healing and is now affecting their organs. I need to inject them with the serum quickly. The fact that they're

We all rushed to the medical center where Kyle and Brody were. I couldn't wait to see them. I needed to know they were alright. I ran through the double doors back towards the rooms and smelled my way all the way to them. Inside a long corridor, one of the middle rooms had lights on. I smelled them before I saw them and ran to open the door. I swung it open, hard, and everyone inside jumped at the abruptness. When my eyes laid on both my guys, I teared up immediately and ran to them, hugging them tight and close. They were first shocked but quickly returned the hug. I leaned back, touching them both all over and held their face in my hands."I'm so glad you guys are ok. I would've burned this whole place down if something happened to one of you."Everyone in the room snickered. I frowned, looking around."Y'all think I'm playing, but I'm dead ass serious."Eveyone laughed."Oh, trust us. We know."Elias said through his fit of laughter. Steph began to pout."How come you've never acte

I had left my space, leaving instructions for Mateo and Owen. Since returning to the pack, Lisa and I have been on a mission to get Brandon to drink the potion I made for him. He had completely stopped taking it, especially since he felt like his old self again. He won't drink the drinks she makes for him anymore or take anything she brings him. Lately, he has become overly suspicious of her. It's been almost a year since he had any of it. I'm worried that without the constant intake of the potion I made, he will slowly begin to fall out of love with Lisa. I had created a potion that blocks his connectivity to his true mate. Then, created one to fabricate a bond between him and Lisa. The potion he continuously takes makes him overly receptive to her influence and makes their love stronger, where it's almost blinding. He has been without it for far too long. I haven't been able to pay much attention to it due to my own plans but now I think I've waited too long.Flashback: the day Alph

The battle waged between wolf and warlock was heavy. There are clear differences between Riverfront and Blackcresent in terms of how we fight the enemy, and the biggest indicator is how we approach the warlocks. Because our pack has a being with powers and/or fought beings with powers, we've been taught how to fight. First thing first, never go at them directly and always fight with a partner. One fights, as the other distracts. You can be interchangeable but never move in continuous patterns. Luke and I flanked our alpha as he made his way to a warlock who thought it was a good idea to attack him head-on. I protected his left while Luke cleared his right, and we both had his back. Our son's were off together moving how they were taught. I kept an eye on them throughout this whole ordeal. In the history that was taught, it took very few warlocks to lay waste to an entire pack. About 10 to 15 warlocks to a pack's 200 plus would be enough. But what I'm seeing today is not holding true t

I've been in a panic about Kwen all day. It was around 4 pm, when she called me needing help. I dropped everything I was doing and rushed over to her room in the packhouse. I busted her room door open to see her looking so lifeless. When I touched her, she had a cold sweat and slightly trembling. I carried her to the med center and tried to figure out what was going on with my girl. Her blood pressure was high and rising. She suddenly got voliently ill and began vomiting. The entire time, her blood pressure kept rising. I had to sedate her, basically placing her in a coma, until I could figure out why she suddenly became so sick. She has never been sick like this in all her years here. After the kidnapping, the only other time she had to come here was when she developed a miragrain and passed out. This time, though... it was different, and I was scared for her life. I kept checking in on her throughout the day, praying that the alpha, brother, and friends to come back soon. Each time
