Lahat ng Kabanata ng Bound By Fate, Burned By Love : Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

DamonThere was darkness around me when I opened my eyes again. He hadn't let me out in all the time I had been here and somehow I had managed to fall asleep. I felt the panic rise in my chest as I looked around me. I wasn't sure where the door was but I couldn't stand it here anymore. I had to plead to him, maybe he would let me out then. I managed to walk my way through the empty room, hitting a wall before I realized I was close to the door. I began feeling the wall to find my way to the door and finally my hand felt the hard wood. I touched it to make sure I had felt right. It was the door so I banged against it repeatedly. “Let me out" I screamed, hitting the door. There was no reply at first but it didn't stop me from continuing. I hit against the door, somehow he would hear me and would get me out of here. I felt a sudden headache and fatigue that hadn't been there before. I had to rest against the door, my voice reducing due to how tired I felt. “Luciano" I heard it befo

1Chapter 34DamonThey had come to save me. I wasn't sure who but they were vampires as well. Somehow they had found us and had attacked Rhys. I watched as they fought the battle and won there and then, capturing Rhys. My eyes followed as they took him away. Surprisingly I didn't feel any pity for him. He had pretended to me for so long, acting as if he cared about me only to be fake. All this time, this was his plan, trap me here and make me his for life. I felt relief as they took him and he was soon out of sight. Now I was alone with only two men, they were huge and I knew immediately they were vampires. I stood still, scared they might harm me. But instead, one of them went out of the room. I didn't know what for and the other came closer to me. “You're Damon right?" He asked. I was scared now, what if this had been a trap, an even worse one than Rhys and they had come here to find me and kill me. I turned around to run but his hands caught my elbow almost immediately. “Don'

Chapter 36DamonIt had been a week since my kidnapping and everything had gone back to normal or as normal as it could be on the outside at least. On the inside, conflict stayed and distrust. If Rhys had found it so easy to pretend and for so long, so perfectly who said they weren't others who could do the same? Would that mean that I couldn't get into any other relationship especially now?I didn't even want to harbor the idea of Luciano and I coming back together, it wasn't possible and anyway he had made it clear in his way. He hadn't texted or tried to reach me in all that time. Sometimes I picked my phone up to text or call him but stopped myself, I couldn't. First of all, I didn't want to seem desperate and secondly he should be the one calling, he was the one who had put me in danger after all. Dad had noticed the slight change in me the next day, asking me questions and so many times I was tempted to tell him but didn't. I knew I couldn't. “Damon, where's your attention?"

DamonOne by one Mr Zeke called us out either in pairs or alone to give a solution to the scenario he had given us. Most people went in pairs except a few whom I would call overconfident. It was only a few people left before it was our turn and so far we had received no clues from Mr Zeke if their solution was right so we could know what to fix. The only thing that I could see was that our solution was very different from what the others had come up with and that could mean only two things, it was right or it was wrong. We could only hope it was the former not the latter. Mariam and I said our finishing pieces to each other just before we were called up. “Damon and Mariam, you both are up next, come tell me what your solution is" Mr Zeke said to both of us. We walked to the front of class, my heart beating as everyone stared at us. So many things could go right but if one thing went wrong, that was it. “Mariam will start with the first part sir" I said to Mr Zeke and Mariam bega

DamonThe thought hadn't left my mind even after I had slept and woken up the next day. What if somehow we were doing it wrong and we didn't have any one else to tell us?Right from a very young age we had been told the story of how the hunters came to be. Or at least the story our parents gave us, no one could know if it was true or not. Now, even though it was simply because of having to kill Luciano, I thought about its credibility. What if something had gone wrong and this wasn't to be what we were supposed to do. The thought plagued my mind so much that even as I slept, I had a dream about it. When I woke up the next day, I couldn't remember much about it. All I could remember was the feeling of freedom and fear mixed in my emotions. I had woken up feeling both as well. It was strange, as if I had learnt something in the dream. I knew there was no way I could ask father anything about it, he would shun me and most probably be even more pissed. After all, he had just spoken to
