Lahat ng Kabanata ng Marked by betrayal, bound to the Lycan Lord.: Kabanata 91 - Kabanata 100

Author’s POV. In the far corner of the filthy concrete room, under a flickering bulb that buzzed like an angry fly, the men who held Xena captive sat around a rickety wooden table. A cracked chessboard was laid out between them, dusty pieces moved with lazy fingers. One of them, a bald man with a jagged scar slicing through his eyebrow, adjusted a rook and grinned.“She screamed for hours yesterday,” a man with a scar on his eyes muttered with a grin. “Bet she’ll scream even louder tomorrow.”The one across from him, chuckled. “We haven’t even touched her yet. Just wait until we start our little routine. I’ll take the mornings. You can have the night.”They all laughed. “I want to see her crawl,” another said, carefully watching the men move their players across the board. “Begging for death. Crying for that filthy mutt of a Lycan Lord.”Scar-eye shifted his knight. “Don’t worry. It won't take long before she breaks.”They exchanged glances, smiling like men who just won a prize. “

Xena’s POVThe moment the blindfold came off, the dim light burned into my eyes. I blinked, trying to adjust, but everything was blurry. My face was sticky with dried tears. My head throbbed. I couldn't see them clearly but the images were enough to tell me that they were monsters.“Please…” My voice was so quiet I barely heard it myself. “Please let me go.”They laughed exchanging glances at each other. “I'm tired of hearing that,” one growled. “I didn't know she was as annoying as her blood. She's so dumb,” he mocked. I swallowed hard, fresh tears flowing down my cheeks as I tried to move forward but I couldn't. I was still tied to the pole and I was weak, I haven't eaten for like—- I had no idea. I don't know how long I have been here but I knew it wasn't less than three days. One of them crouched down to look me in the face. He looked young—barely older than a teen. What the hell was this child doing with them? Why drag a child to a cruel life?“You’re already begging?” he sa

Xena’s POVThey dragged me back to the storeroom. My body ached everywhere—my back, my arms, my legs, even my chest from how hard I’d been breathing. Blood was still dripping from my arm and shoulder. They shoved me inside and slammed the door shut behind me.I fell hard on the concrete. I could hear them outside. They were as confused as I was. “What the fuck was that?” one of them yelled.“How the hell did she do that?” another snapped.“Did you see her hand? Her fucking hand had claws!”“No impure has ever turned like that. She’s not just some bastard wolf.”I curled in on myself, pulling my knees to my chest. I couldn’t stop shaking. I was now more scared of myself than I was scared of them. I didn’t even know how it happened. I didn’t even mean to do it.They burst into the room. The younger one stared at me, his face pale with fear. He couldn't even come close to me. “Black magic,” the bald one muttered. “So you aren't just cursed, you are a betrayal, you are using black magi

Xena’s POVTwo days have passed and I have used those two days wisely. I have been resting, watching and planning. I used a walk around the mansion as an excuse to actually look around properly. And everything I found gave off a dangerous vibe but I was still willing to risk it. There were no guards in the hallways. No locked doors or strange things—- except for the sculptures. But everything else made this prison look like a home. And that was what made it more dangerous. The rest of the girls in the house didn't make anything easy for me. They were all brainwashed fools who thought this place was a home and the one who didn't seem to agree to that, weren't really talking. They were all mute. And I couldn't wait for them to finally open up before I hatch a plan to leave. That evening I overheard the women saying that they had to retire to bed early because the next day was going to be busy. I had no idea what was happening tomorrow and I didn't want to know. If anything I wanted

Xena’s POVI woke up with excruciating pain, my vision blurry. My body felt so weak that I couldn't feel any part of my body. My breath became heavy the moment I realized I was back in the house. I looked around in fear but my fear turned to anger the moment I saw Jared. He was sitting at a long wooden table, comfortably eating like this was just another peaceful day. He cut into his steak with a calm hand, fork in the other, chewing slowly and sipping wine like we were just couples enjoying dinner. “You are awake,” he said, taking another bite of steak. “I was starting to think I overdosed you.”My chest squeezed tight. I looked around quickly. “Where is she?” I asked, my voice low and shaky.Jared raised his eyes but didn’t stop chewing.“You crooked bastard,” I shouted, trying to get up but I still couldn't feel my legs. I slowly looked down, my heart racing ten times faster than the speed of a cheater. “What did you do to me?” He scoffed, taking a sip of his wine. “Relax, I'm
