66. Rachael. I thought my eardrums had blown out from the loud noise that ensued, but it was still working perfectly. Ethan was basically acting as my body shield. I covered my ears and looked around. It was like a movie, everything happened in slow motion. The guards in the dining room were in battle with the Riverdale soldiers. To make it worse, it was a combination of bullets and sword fights. It was absolute chaos. Ethan flipped the table over to act as cover from the gunfire. "Stay down, I will clear the way for you to get to safety!" He yelled above the rapid gunfire. "Wait! Wait! Don't leave!" I screamed. Ethan merely glanced at me and retracted his claws. 68. Ethan. "You....you monster. You are not of this world..." The Riverdalean captain groaned. I drew out the sword from his body and blood gushed out of the wound. I looked around the dining room. Almost all the Riverdalean soldiers I had engaged in combat, about thirty-five in total were dead or passed out from missing their limbs. "Where's your master, and I will make it quick," I said. The soldier coughed. "I don't know—" I bashed his head in and he stopped breathing. Some of his blood spilled on my face, but I didn't bother cleaning it. I got on my feet and looked around. The sick smell of blood filled my nostrils, but it was normal to me now. I wished it wouldn't come to that. I hated fighting and killing people. I walked across the bodies and glanced at them after I was done. I was even more impressed I had killed all of them only with my claws, except the last man whom I used his own weapon on.

70. Ethan. "Tell me status reports. Where's my father first?" Ethan conversed with Chekov. "My lord, I've received intel that the secret chamber he is being held at is attacked by the Riverdaleans," Chekov revealed. "Impossible, what about our guards? I have a gun; who told you I wanted to engage in hand-to-hand combat with them?" I retorted. "Ethan—" Rachael followed out of the room. "Whoa! Get back inside, it's too dangerous out here!" I warned her but she wouldn't listen. "Ethan, listen to me. What Chekov is trying to say is that you can't take them alone, why don't you go with us?" She suggested.
