1. Rachael || "This is disgusting! You foolish girl, I don't like milk! I'm lactose intolerant! How can you be so stupid?!" Mrs. Newman yelled as she slammed the cup on the counter. I watched half the contents of the cup spill on the counter I had just spent thirty minutes lovingly polishing. It was a regular Monday, and she was already making my day terrible, just like the rest of the werewolves that came here! "Mrs. Newman, I—" I wanted to explain myself but the words were barely out of my mouth when I felt a stinging hot slap land over my cheeks. "You stupid girl! How dare you talk to her like that? Do you think she is a lowly pig like you?" Another angry voice followed. Tears pooled at the corners of my eyes as pain and anger blended within me. I wanted to open my mouth and explain the situation once again but another werewolf joined them and before I could blink another slap landed on my face. 3. Ethan || The darkness within me threatened to slip to the surface but I held it back. I turned back at Rachael and forced a smile to keep her at ease. I turned back to my elder brother. "Nathan, take back your words," I growled deeply. His eyes looked down on me. "Or what?" His voice was low, with just the right amount of vibrato to express the aggression he threatened to release. He had always been like this, egging and pushing me to anger. I wouldn't fall for a trap that obvious. Not today. I closed my eyes. "Nathan, she possesses the power of the Moon Goddess. She needs to be inside right now!" His eyelids flickered for a second and he glanced at her. "No way!" He shook his head. "She's the moon wolf?!" He pointed at her. "Yes listen, Nathan—" "Are you stupid? I thought you were bringing in strays again, but you brought this dangerous hybrid to our doorstep?!" 5. Rachael || A huge lump formed in my throat but I swallowed it back and shook my head. "You are lying. My uncle isn't dead." Alpha Edgar's eyes remained fixed on me, in a way that tore my heart into tiny pieces. He didn't have to use his words, those dark eyes were enough to echo the words in my head. "No, Uncle Jonathan can't die! He will never—" My words hung in the air as Alpha Edgar clapped his hands and the doors burst open. A hefty guard walked into the room and placed a tablet before him. My heart started racing as Alpha Edgar typed on the screen and turned it in my direction. "The plan was not to tell you in this manner. But your enemies will stop at nothing until they have their hands on you..." He whispered but my brain could barely take in his words as it was focused on the image on the screen. My legs developed a mind of their own and before I knew it, I was standing with the tablet in front of me, watching the gruesome video play out. "You will never harm the m
