Chapter 42 “An Adventure” POV Samatha I wake up the next morning happy and refreshed. Even Gabriel is singing in my head. I throw on a robe. Have a long hot shower, then get dressed. chapter 45 “Rain” POV Theo We get to Blind Bay and just finish filling up our tank. When 30 rogues ambush us out of nowhere. I tell Ayesha to hide somewhere safe and to trust her dragon judgment. Then, I start by taking out the biggest rogue. One of them tries to steal my car. Jim waltzes over and yanks him out the car window and breaks his arms and legs. I have three come up from behind and hit me with a crowbar twice. I managed to get the crowbar from them and knock them out cold. However, now I have a splitting headache. I look around, and the last few rogues have wonder off. I grab one of the rogues that is still conscious. “Who sent you?” “Kane, he wants the girl! He knows she healed the old man.
