SASHA’S POV Throughout the ride to the mall, Nina was in daze. Despite my explanation for the tenth time, her brain was still foggy, not enough to let my explanation sink in. When I offered to drive, so she won’t get us both killed, she refused, grabbed the car key from me and revved the car’s engine to life. Just a few minutes before reaching the mall, she asked the question I’ve been trying to avoid. I knew she was going to ask. Sooner or later. Nina, as always, has been a straight forward bitch. She says the truth and never tried to sugarcoat it. Maybe this was the reason she never had any friends other than me. “Are you sure about this?” She asked, her eyes fixed on the expressway and her lips paused in a thin line.
