CHAPTER 80 ERIC’S POV It was a dark sedan, discreet, not so showy or flashy as to attract much attention. It also had tinted windows, so you couldn’t see who was inside. I liked it that way. It wouldn’t draw the wrong kind of eyes, and no one would notice Adrianna and me were inside on our way. We went outside. As we did, I took Adrianna’s hand in mine, holding tightly as though if I let go I might end up losing her forever, trying to fight back the anxiety churning in my gut. She looked up at me and smiled, the look on her crystal blue eyes soft and reassuring. The driver was a tall, middle-aged man dressed in a simple black suit. He had a kind face, his smile quick and easy as he tipped his cap in greeting.
