 "Lilly's apartment would make an ideal base for pack members visiting the city," Ryan continued, his gaze steady. "A place where young wolves could stay while exploring educational and business opportunities beyond our traditional territories."   Mick nodded, exchanging a meaningful glance with Harmony. "That's precisely our thinking. The world is changing, and our packs must adapt if we're to thrive in the future."   Lilly sat perfectly still, hardly daring to breathe. The adults were speaking in careful euphemisms, but the meaning beneath their words was unmistakable. They were creating a framework, a socially acceptable narrative, that would allow her, Kenny, and Axel to build a life together without openly challenging pack traditions.  

“We do have to be careful, though, Axel, we can’t do anything we shouldn’t before my 18th as much as our wolves would like us to. And you being an Alpha isn’t helping your instincts are heightened, but still none of us are of age, and then again I’m the last of all three of us to come of age. If I’m right about the way two are looking at me right now, there is no way you are going to leave me alone in the maiden’s cabin afterwards. But in saying that, it’s still over three years away.” Lilly paused, “I know Luka’s coming of age has kicked up a notch in prep. How is yours coming along, Kenny? But then we have the Moon dance halfway in between Luka’s and your coming of age, Kenny.” Lilly swallowed hard, “It's only going to get harder from here, you know, the pull is only going to get stronger once you come of age. We might be mates, but it's not li
