Cameron took me to his family house. It was a huge brick building on the edge of town with its own towering gate. Once again, it was clearly a home but possessed this eery air about it that resembled a prison and at the same time a medieval castle. The place had guards all over and servants who greeted Cameron as we walked in and gave me curious glances. The place seemed cold. And partially abandoned. A dark and menacing laugh echoed through as we walked outside the gate. Chills immediately ran through my body as I looked around. Twilight had fallen upon us. Cameron let out a loud yell which slowly turned into a growl. Next thing I knew he was running into battle and shifted into his wolf form. The Dark Lord gave a signal and in no time the Dark ones started to pounce on us. The Eclipse soldiers begun to shift following their alpha into battle. I turned to Jaimie and he gave me a nod. "Be careful." Was all he said before shifting and joining the battle. I looked at and shut my own eyes. For Piper and all the people this bastard had slain. In no time fur was growing on my body and I was down on my paws. I ran into action letting rage and fury fuel me as I tore through the Dark ones. They didn't know what had hit them. My favourite spot back home was an old fountain in the centre of our home. Casa Diamanté has been in the family for more years than any of us even know. It's an old and massive mansion that everyone in the pack knew about. Basically a monument that we lived in at that point. To me, it was something of a prison. With all the time I had spent locked in there for my 'safety'. I tended to miss the sky a lot. Hence the fountain. It became the only place I could go outside and see the sky. Jaimie used to call it 'Piper's hideout'. And in a way it was. So many nights I had spent there fantasising about a time I would finally be free. Be normal and live a life where I wasn't the special white wolf who all the Dark ones were after. I hadn't dreamt of the Fountain in a while. Especially since I came to Tempest pack territory. That's why it was all the more strange when I found myself walking along the familiar stone floor. I furrowed my brows when I saw a figure on the bench.

I rushed down the stairs not even caring that all I had on was my night down. I found Mary and Landon sitting down having breakfast but multiple plans were scattered all over the table. Landon was about to bring a cup of coffee to his lips when he saw me. He slowly set it down. "Piper? What is it?" "It's only a matter of time little one." The voice came as usual like a whisper of death. I breathed heavily as I rose. This wasn't like the times before when the Dark Lord had appeared in my dreams. Sure it was still extremely nightmarish. Maybe even more so this time. His presence always felt like dark smoke seeping into my lungs and threatening to choke me to death. But this time was definitely different. I got to my feet. I was on a cliff that I had never been on. Surrounded by mountains and trees in the distance. The night was dark and the moon seemed more lonely than ever. All around, the atmosphere was solemn. I hadn't been expecting so many of my own people to show up but here they were.
