My scalp burned as the man dragged me across the broken floor, my nails scraping uselessly at the debris. I kicked, clawed, screamed, but it didn’t matter, he was too strong. Then, out of nowhere, a figure slammed into him, I couldn't make out the face through the smoke and the pain. He let go of my hair with a grunt, stumbling to the side.
