Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Imperfect Luna: Kabanata 61 - Kabanata 70

Cassian“Are you not going after her?” Taylor asks me as soon as we get to my chambers. I don’t respond, but I just start changing. I am not going to be chasing after a woman.“You know, you could let her take over some duties, it’s…”“No.” I cut him short. I throw my coat on the chair as I walk to my desk. Her scent hit my nostrils. Last night, replaying in my mind how she was in my arms. This should not have happened. I shouldn’t have let her get close to me, yet everything around me reminds me of her. I have let her get too close to me. This is for the best.I could feel the pain in her chest every time she looked at Ravenna. But I am only doing this for her. If anyone ever got news that she does not have those high standards they set for her, they would rip her apart, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t just stand by, and unfortunately, my wolf wouldn’t just stand by. I would rip out their tongues for speaking against her.“I’m told she is towards the fields with Alaric. Should I ask th

Sasha“Is this what you had in mind, Luna Sasha?” Luna Odessa asked me after she got closer to me. I forced a smile on my lips, giving her an affirmative nod. We met at the last brunch I attended, and among all those Lunas I met that day, she was the only person who seemed to be interested in getting to know me.“It is better. I am just glad that the shelter will have everything it needs,” I say to her, bringing the glass of champagne to my lips. She is a woman in her late fifties and has a son who married an omega.“It’s a good thing what you have done. It’s good these greedy bastards can spend their money on something worth it,” she remarks. I almost choke on my own words; I shift my attention to her. I didn’t expect someone like her to use such language.“Are you okay, sweetheart?” She placed her hand on my shoulder, and I smiled, nodding my head. “I’m sorry. I just…” I pause, my lips turning up into a smirk, and she burst out laughing.“I like you for him, you know? Ever since yo

CassianAlaric was on top of my Sasha. My eyes saw red, and in a split second, my hand was around his neck, lifting him off the ground.“How dare you touch what’s mine?” I seethed, my claws digging into his throat. He thrashed and tried to kick while his hand wrapped around my wrist. Blood trailed down my hand into my shirt.“Cassian—” he pleaded, his voice barely a whisper, tears running down his cheeks.“Sasha, please.” His eyes shifted to her, slowly closing. How dare he talk to her? In my presence. “Don’t you fucking look at her!” I growled, throwing him against the wall. He gasped for air, and in a split second, I was standing in front of him, throwing punches. I could feel the warmth of his blood on my hands, but I wanted more.“Cassian, no!” Sasha’s voice came behind me, trying to pull me back, but I shrugged her off. Punching the asshole’s face.Sasha grabbed me by my neck, pulling me back. “Please. He didn’t hurt me,” she pleaded. I turned my claws out. “Do you want him? Is h

CassianShe is my mate. The thought of it makes my blood boil. Why didn’t I realize sooner? Why did it take me so long to understand what she was? I ran fingers through my hair.‘She should be back by now; I can talk to her.’ I thought of pushing back my chair as I made my way to her room.I stood outside, my heart racing so hard. I could hear my heart in my ears. “Sasha?” I knocked. Pushing the door open, it was just the way she left it last night. I furrowed my eyebrows, sniffing the air.“Ariel, it is,” I thought, making my way towards her omega’s room, but decided against it. If she wanted to know everything, she would follow me to my office. With that, I turned back to my office. The day went by quietly with meetings, and by lunchtime, I decided to check on her again. “Your grace,” I found Ariel, who fell to her knees immediately she saw me approaching her quarters.“What’s going on, Ariel?” I asked, approaching where she stood, and she bowed her head, hitting the floor as I narr

SashaI stood in front of the mirror, running my hands down the dress I was wearing. It was a midnight blue floor-length dress with a double high slit, and deep V-neck, and long sleeves.“Wow, you look amazing.” Isaiah’s voice came from the door. I glanced over my shoulder to see him leaning against the threshold, hands in his pockets. His clean-shaven face and piercing brown eyes made my heart skip a beat. I rolled my eyes and walked towards the bed.“All thanks to my handsome date. He picked it out for me,” I said with a smirk, gathering my silver purse.“He has great taste. You should tell him that” he chuckles, pushing off, then striding towards me. He took slow, deliberate steps into the room, his eyes roaming around.“I like what you have done with the room. It feels…” he pauses, inhaling sharply. “homely,” he continues towards the window.“Thanks. I needed a change of scenery. Plus, I haven’t been in my right mind lately.” I said, putting on my earrings as he stepped closer.“I
