Three Months LaterSienna's P.O.V.The first month after my parents were killed, everyone was so stunned I was their alpha that things were calm for the most part. Chapter 2 - Maverick

Maverick's P.O.V.The King hasn't said anything to me, but I know something is going to happen soon. The men have been more aggressive with me the last few weeks to test my resilience against beatings. I have learned to make myself numb to their beatings. Sienna's P.O.V.I don't know what to say. Maverick seems to be telling me the truth that he's not here to kill me, but he also admitted to being trained as an assassin. Sienna's P.O.V.Mav and I walk around the pack house so I can show him where everything is. Mav's P.O.V.After Sienna spoke to the pack, we went to the dining hall for lunch.
