Mav's P.O.V.After Sienna spoke to the pack, we went to the dining hall for lunch. We sat in a corner so we could be alone."When we're done eating, will you show me what you have as far as security around the perimeter of the pack lands? I want to make sure that they will stop the assassins that I know the King will be sending,” I ask her. "Yeah, I'll have Diego go with us. He's the lead warrior. He and his mate have been my only allies since my parents were killed. Most of the warriors seem okay, but I don't trust anyone other than Diego and Robin. Sienna's P.O.V."Two men just arrived from the palace. They're trying to come through one of the barriers." I tell Mav and Prince Drakon."Show me where," Mav says. We run to the North side of the pack land and see the two men, but they don't see us yet. Assassins won't shift because they feel vulnerable as wolves and they like to use their weapons."Mav, you and Sienna go behind them, and I'll be a distraction so you can attack." Prince Drakon whispers. We don't hesitate as we turn to go around them. I see Diego and some of the warriors watching not far from us."Come with Mav and I.
