~ Aria's POV ~"What should we do with her?" a voice echoed through the darkness, unfamiliar and chilling. I couldn’t see their faces—my eyes were blindfolded and my limbs were numb. That’s when I realized I'd been tied up by whoever must've kidnapped me."Who are you guys? Let me go!" I said loudly, trying to break free from the strong ropes.I heard giggles from all angles, but I didn't know who they were. My eyes were covered in darkness, and I’d be a liar if I said I wasn't scared.I was terrified.Someone had kidnapped me, and I was tied up with no idea where I was or who they were."This isn't funny. Whoever you are, show your face to me!" I tried to act tough, but my trembling voice betrayed me."Warren," I heard a familiar voice. "Take off the fold," she said.I heard footsteps coming closer to me. And then, with a rough yank, the blindfold was ripped away from my eyes, dragging a gasp from my lips.It took a few seconds before I could get my vision back, and when I did, the f

~ Aria's POV ~I let out a deep sigh when I arrived back at the academy. My body ached all over, but I couldn't stay at the hospital. The bills were going to multiply, and I didn't have the money to pay them. What the vampires did to me last night still gnawed at my flesh and soul. Yet, I had no choice but to return to the very place that had become a waking nightmare. Eclipse Academy. My personal hell. I hated to admit it, but it was the only place I had left—since my mother had decided to erase herself from my life like I meant nothing. With aches in my body, I went straight to my room. Luckily for me, I didn't come across any monsters, and I assumed they'd be having their classes.I entered my room, and just when I was about to take off the jacket Jeremiah had lent me, I heard the buzzing sound of a phone. It had to be mine. I had chosen that weird sound, and moreover, I wasn't with my phone when I was kidnapped by Seraphina and her crew, else I'd have misplaced it, which would've

~ Aria's POV ~I sat in silence, facing the hateful, piercing eyes of Miss Hellcat and the vampire teachers. Their stares burned through me. They were all gazing at me with intense hate, like I had committed a mortal sin. No one believed me. They all believed the words from Seraphina's friend. No one believed me, except for the three monsters who were trying their best to defend me."Why are you silent, Aria? I just asked you why you killed two students of mine?!" the man with the beard asked, his eyes turning crimson. He's a vampire and one of the teachers of the vampires."What do you want me to say?" I whimpered, my voice trembling. "I already told you what happened, but none of you want to believe me. I didn’t use crosses on those vampires. I would never even think of doing something so vile..."A woman slammed her hand on the desk so hard the wood cracked and split in two.I flinched, my heart leaping into my throat. Her fangs were bared—she looked like she wanted to tear me apar

~ Aria's POV ~I sat on the cold floor of the dungeon, my head buried between my knees, arms wrapped tightly around my trembling body as tears streamed endlessly down my face.No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t stop crying. I was shivering despite the jacket clinging to my skin. The bruises hidden beneath it itched and ached, but I couldn’t take it off—not when the freezing air around me could chill me to death. The dungeon was pitch black—no windows, no light—just endless cold. Cold enough to harbor fish, if any could survive this despair. But even with the biting cold gnawing at my bones, my mind kept drifting back to them, Lucian, Raven, and Thorne.I had screamed so loudly, to the extent that I almost lost my voice, but no one listened to me, so I gave up."Raven... Lucian... Thorne..." I mumbled their names, my voice shaky as their unconscious faces haunted my memory. It was so obvious they weren't okay. If they were, they would’ve torn down the dungeon's door, broken the cha

~ Aria's POV ~I placed the last of my clothes into my luggage while Callista sat on her bed, her expression weighed down with sadness."Are you really sure about this? You want to leave?" she asked, her voice cracking as if the words hurt to speak. The news of my decision to leave the Academy had spread like wildfire—and the saddest part? Everyone was excited about it. It was painful they never wanted me here in the first place.I gave Callista a soft smile and nodded."Don't you think you need to think this through? Leaving isn't the best option. It's like agreeing to the accusations Seraphina and Ixora laid against you.Ixora was the name of the girl who had started the accusation about me killing those vampires with crosses."I don’t care anymore, Callista. They didn’t exactly lie. I had something to do with what happened to those vampires," I said quietly."But you didn’t kill them on purpose. You told me your blood acted on its own—it protected you. Shouldn’t you want to underst
